Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Da Inphamus Amadeuz. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Da Inphamus, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
Deciding to become a dj was a huge risk for myself and career. I was at the height of my music video directorial career and was transitioning into filming content for radio. An opportunity presented itself for me to get on air, as a personality but I would need to learn how to dj. I literally purchased a laptop and went to work. Dj’n night in and out at venues etc without knowing how to actually dj. I was learning on the spot. But on the other side of fear is a reward. I stood with it, perfected the craft and here I am today

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
We have been able to make major strides not only in the radio world, but many aspects of the music business. We have had a modeling company, a physical print magazine which was in over 240 news stands nationwide. Marketing, product placement and more, creating a bridge between the independent scene and the majors. On the film side we have directed over 160 videos to date while surpassing 30 million views on all platforms
During my time as a film director I had an alcoholic drink called a “Nutcracker”. Its New York City’s version of jungle juice. I would bring it on set and serve it to people as we filmed throughout the day. The product became so big National Geographic caught wind of it and wanted to feature me on a show called “Underworld Inc”. The show was about Moonshiners but they wanted to add an urban twist.
After appearing on the show a host from SiriusXm saw me on television and posted by photo on instagram. Hence came radio and the rest is history
Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
LLC’s & EIN’s! Hands down. Coming for low income backgrounds especially in minority communities we have a serious lack of education in this area. The opportunity to build a professional business the correct way will not only have you flourish, but others around you

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Direct to consumer content is your best friend as creator. You can go on your social media platform and talk directly to the people who are interested in your brand. Create content for them that begins conversations. Ask questions and be sure to interact with as many people that respond as possible. The social media algorithm loves that!
