Cynthia, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What do you think it takes to be successful?
What it takes to be successful is determination , setting your mind on where you want be and accomplish.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Cynthia Bendeck, am the owner of Crystal Nuts, we offer various types of nuts and flavors, as well as nut butters and dried fruits. What makes our company different than the rest of nut companies is that we produce in small batches to keep our flavors real, also our roasting process does not include oil as well as our products are produce on the weekly basics to keep freshness. I am proud of what I have accomplished and can not wait to see what the future has for Crystal Nuts
How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?
Starting a business is not easy, there it a-lot of work behind it. My story is a little different than the rest but am proud on how I started and where I am today. I started my business back in 2018, when I took one of the most important decision of my life. I started the company with $300, and started selling the product in the street light of my house, after couple of month I decided to move into a commercial kitchen to produce larger quantities and obtain the permits to sell at farmers market and wholesale. The tip I can give someone when starting a business is be wise on how you spend your money, invest in the business and that way the business will grow, slowly but surely.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best source to get new customers for my business are farmers markets, local events, social media. The most important of all of the mention sources for me is farmers market, and word to mouth.
