We were lucky to catch up with Curdy St. Pierre recently and have shared our conversation below.
Curdy, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
A few year back I was asked to be part of a team regarding an online radio show, I was and still am an amateur writing so I think this would be something fun and challenging to do. Which it was. Figuring out topics getting guests arranging music the works. Due to mishandling and non communications I ended up leaving the production.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
Well I got back into the podcast game after speaking to my wife (sn she created the name of the business and show) I told her how much fun I had when I was working behind the scenes. She said to me then why don’t you start again on your on terms. So that Born Everyvoiceradio. We did trial and error on blogtalkradio, Facebook live, and separate online radio stations till doing it on Instagram live and playback on anchor.fm. I proud of my team that we can have healthy discussion and disagreement about multiple topics and we are interactive with our listeners.
Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
That sometimes people don’t see your vision if you not in the Frontline. You can’t achieve your dreams putting on other people’s shoulders.
Looking back, are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
That there are different apps and equipment you can get for free or purchase it and learn your craft instead of paying people to do it for you that just it for just for the bucks.
