Crystal, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?

The story behind my mission is to motivate women to take time for self-care. As I have a Clinical mental Health background, I know it is very important for women whether they are a busy mom, 9-5 business woman, student, or entrepreneur; to take time out for themselves to unwind and relax their mind. It’s all about doing what makes you feel good and it is ok to take time out for yourself.

Crystal, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I am a certified Permanent Makeup Artist that specializes in Microshading. I provide a service that will save them time, save them money and enhance their confidence by just doing their eyebrows. I solve my client’s brow worries whether they have sparse brows, tired of using brow pencils, or just don’t know how to do their brows. I help my clients save time in their morning routine as they can just wake up and go versus spending time in the mirror drawing on their brows over and over again. What sets me apart from others is my customer service. I personally have 10 years of customer service experience and those skills help me in my business daily.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

The best source for me has been Google. I keep my Google profile updated and my potential clients get to read reviews.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?

I have read many self-improvement books but one that has significantly impacted my management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy is a book called The 5 AM Club by Robin Shama.
