Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Crystal Rowe. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Crystal thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
My mission is to provide a comprehensive range of services under one unified organization, dedicated to restoring wealth and empowerment within the Christian community. I aim to achieve this by offering accessible educational resources, practical classes, and support for entrepreneurship, encouraging business ownership and financial growth grounded in faith-based values.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a proud mother of three, a loving “Glam Ma” to a beautiful granddaughter, and the fifth of eight children raised by a strong single mother in Dallas, Texas. Growing up in a lower-income neighborhood, I witnessed firsthand the power of perseverance, faith, and hard work. My mother, who raised us without assistance from our father or the government, became the driving force behind my passion and determination to succeed.
From a young age, I knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur. My journey began when my mother taught me how to do hair. Once I started getting paid for my services, I was hooked. I attended beauty school and worked in a salon, but even as I honed my craft, I felt a calling for more. I transitioned into customer service, always seeking growth and purpose. In 2019, I saw a post about learning to prepare taxes, and I jumped at the opportunity. Six years later, I now run my own tax preparation business.
In addition to taxes, I provide online notary services, serve as a travel advisor, offer business consulting, and partner with a tax attorney to help clients resolve debt and find funding opportunities. As a licensed minister, I am deeply connected to the church and have seen the financial struggles many congregations and their members face. My mission is clear: to bring wealth, education, and empowerment back to the Christian community.
God has placed me on a mission to remind others that it is okay to reset and begin again. Through my work, I strive to embody the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—while helping others achieve financial and spiritual restoration.
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
My clients are at the heart of everything I do. The greatest compliment I receive is a referral, because it means the work is making a difference. Most of my new clients come through word of mouth, a reflection of the trust and satisfaction that my exciting clients feel. I am proud to have built a reputation for excellence, integrity, and compassion, and I’m deeply grateful for every recommendation, testimonial, and kind word shared within the community.
Can you talk to us about how you funded your business?
Starting my business wasn’t easy, but I made a decision to invest in myself. I left my job, withdrew my 401(k) savings, and carefully saved my tax refund to build the capital I needed. With faith, discipline, and determination, I turned those resources into the foundation of a growing enterprise. I didn’t wait for a loan or outside investor, I became my own source of funding. My story is proof that a vision, sacrifice, and belief in yourself, it’s possible to build something meaningful from the ground up.
