We were lucky to catch up with Crystal Frieson recently and have shared our conversation below.
CRYSTAL, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s start with a story that highlights an important way in which your brand diverges from the industry standard.
Since before I started my Real Estate career;Ive heard all types of stories from buyers and sellers. I even had my own stories from when I purchased my first property 12 years ago. I made it a point to be what I heard the public wants.
A few things I do a little differently are:
I’m not pushy, you cant convince anyone of anything they dont want. Im not in the business of convcincing. You tell me what you want and I try to make that dream happen on your time.
Im a fierce negotiator. I would never just lie down and let my clients get the short end of the stick in Real Estate. I fight for every dime they save. On avergae my clients save $20,000 from my negotiations alone.
I build actual relationships with my clients. My clients and I still text. They call me with random questions. I love it…that means they trust me.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
It was something I had thought of trying years ago but never really went for it. Fast forward to a few years ago, random people would just ask me if I was a Realtor. I took that as a sign that people were seeing something in me, that I wasnt even seeing in myself.
I signed up for the class when I was pregnant with my 2nd child. I was about halfway through when my oldest daughter broke her ankle on a trampoline. I really at that point felt like it was over for me. There were times I had to physcially carry my daughter and I was fully pregnant. Most days I literally had no more energy to study. I stopped my class for a few months and went back after I had my baby.
I sold my first property in 3 months and the rest is history.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I know for a fact Ive built a reputation on not only being ethical but also a strategic negotiator. People hire you to fight for them. They hire you to be their voice. I take my job seriously and I think people understand that.
Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
My business partner is my husband. When I met him he was working for a chicken plant, fixing all the machines. And im like hey you know you can take this to another level right? He told me that was his intentions, he just needed to go to school. I made the appt for him to go see about the HVAC program at one of the schools nearby. He signed up and blew it out of the water.
Eventually we decided we just needed to make a family business of it all. My Real Estate experience and his HVAC experience always go hand in hand.
