Hi Crystal, thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
I love creating content and showing people a behind the scenes of my life. I like to put my followers on to the latest trends or show them places to visit when traveling. I want people to feel as if they can relate to me.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I started to get into the content industry because of my cousin. I used to see her watch vlogs all the time on YouTube and then I slowly started to get into it as well. Eventually it led me to create my own YouTube channel and from there my love for content creating grew. I created content for the love of it and then I started to learn you can make an income off of it and wanted to pursue content creating as a career. I do lifestyle, beauty, fashion, hair care, and travel content because I don’t have one specific interest and I feel more people can relate to me and I love to share tips and share places I love to go.
Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?
I wish I knew about networking early on in my creative journey. Having connections is very important because you can have a little amount of followers, but if you know the right people it can open a lot of doors for you.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Being in the industry for about 4 years and not being where I want to be financially can be tough for me sometimes. I have to remind myself that I’m am doing good for me. I’ve had amazing collaborations with brands I use daily and I’ve been to brand events! Everyone has their own journey and timeline on where they should be.
