We were lucky to catch up with Crowdfreak Baddies recently and have shared our conversation below.

Crowdfreak , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

The C/F Baddie Management (Khaos, Dee The Baddie) knew we wanted to pursue the Modeling / Promoter Group professionally, when the former management were lacking real modeling development options here in the city of Detroit. We wanted to make an affordable group were aspiring models could grow & develop in a safe environment. While helping build their portfolio & brand within the Crowdfreak platform.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

We are The Crowdfreak Baddies, a Modeling and Event Group based out of Detroit Michigan. The Management (Only Khaos & Dee Tha Baddie) help build the models portfolio & brand within the Crowdfreak platform.

Curtis Lamar, one of the cities well known figures in the music industry gave us his platform to stand on as we built our name. Crowdfreak is a music distribution platform, that gives upcoming artists access to distribute their music through online, platforms, stages, and showcases. To name a few festivals like Backwoods and Bonfires Music Festival & Henny&Hamburgers Fest.

We provide an experience for upcoming models that want to boost their brands, also we specialize in Event Host, Promotional Models, Video Vixens, Bottle Girls and etc.

As the Crowdfreak Baddies we starve for more opportunities in the Nightlife and Modeling Industry for individuals that want the opportunity to get themselves out there. As a Modeling / Event Group things get tricky of course with different personalities that are brought on to the team, but as we work together and do what needs to be done business wise everything works out gracefully!

Our most proud moments as a group is that we have had many opportunities brought to us based off the work we put out, the vibes we bring to the table, and the diversity of models that make us stand out more than any other group in the city of Detroit

How did you build your audience on social media?

Well we started from the ground obviously, with that we started posting our photoshoot pictures but at the time we were just doing what we know being on social media for our own pages we’ve built. As time went on people started noticing us especially since we are apart of the Crowdfreak platform. Once people started seeing us on different events, it just went up from there if we are being completely honest. Of course with the help of people reposting us on their pages and staying true to who we are… Social Media became our best friend in a sense.

Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative?

We believe that non-creatives will struggle with that fact that there is a difference with modeling groups and promoting groups. Just based off the fact that a lot of groups don’t offer the same services as some may think. One thing about it is that yes, there may be a lot of groups that claim to be Modeling/Event groups but don’t offer the same services as us or even have the resources to do so. When you are different from other groups and provide services that benefit the individuals apart of the team it makes a big difference in the way you all work together!
