We were lucky to catch up with Crittermake recently and have shared our conversation below.

Crittermake , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?

My mission is to show people that you can be successful after going through a hardship mine was being wrongfully convicted of a crime at the age of 19 and subsequently being sentenced to 20 years in New York State prison . I returned to society with several trades and a plan to be successful . I have my own record label/ entertainment company called The order of business entertainment. I put out all of my music independently . I also have my own clothing line CULTRON which represents different Cultures of life unified forming Voltron against all negativity, stereotypes and stigmas placed on us . Culture +voltron = CULTRON
In addition I am a graphic designer, videographer, photographer, my company Bigdripfilms makes all types of content for up and coming artist and my self .

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I started rapping at the age of 13 for fun.eventually I started to take it seriously and began writing songs with the help of my home girl drama .after a while I began to get nice and getting the attention of other rappers and DJ’s . Throughout the years due to trial’s and tribulations my career was put on hold . Once I returned back to society I jumped right back into the game and been going hard ever since.I started the order of Business entertainment bcuz I wanted control over my music and wanted to help other artist put out their music . I started CULTRON bcuz I wanted to unite different cultures and styles and create cool fashion .

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

I was 19 years old with a promising rap career ahead of me when I was wrongfully accused of a crime I didn’t commit and subsequently convicted and sentenced to 20 years in prison .I fought tooth and nail to prove my innocence but to no avail . I served the whole 20 years came home and been doing great since then . Nothing can stop me from being successful
