Hi Cristina, thanks for joining us today. One of the things we most admire about small businesses is their ability to diverge from the corporate/industry standard. Is there something that you or your brand do that differs from the industry standard? We’d love to hear about it as well as any stories you might have that illustrate how or why this difference matters.

My vision was very different from many others when I first started. I had been working for spas for the first seven years of my career and learned so much, as well as gained experience in this industry. I also learned what I DIDN’T want to do if I ever owned my own spa.

Here at SkinFairy Aesthetics, we are all about creating an inclusive, welcoming environment for all people who want to come in and relax for a bit away from the crazy world, but also get their skin treated.

Skin health is underrated, and once you realize this, you’ll wonder why you didn’t start sooner!!

I have been in the esthetics industry focusing on mainly corrective skincare for 10 years now!. I just recently opened up my first spa storefront location in North Phoenix,Arizona and now have estheticians working under me. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to believe it’s real.

I am very grateful to even have this opportunity in this economy to expand and grow with my clients and now with my new esthetician. I have always wanted to help new estheticians grow and now I get the opportunity to!

At SkinFairy Aesthetics, we focus on corrective skincare treatments and perfectly curated homecare routines for every single clients. Each treatment is fully customized to what the client needs that day. We focus on cultivating a comfortable,inviting atmosphere with no judgement whatsoever.

We also make sure that every single person that walks through our door ends up leaving feeling and looking bette than when they walked in. That is our mission. 🧚

Have you ever had to pivot?

Covid was a rough time for me! I did online consults and made it through that way for the month we were closed. I actually made more than I did in a month of being open!

How’d you meet your business partner?

My husband is my soulmate and business partner. He has believed in me since the beginning when I literally started with $100 in my pocket. He will forever be my wonderwl.
