Alright, Courtney thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?

About year ago, I jumped into the digital marketing space to try and make an income as a busy homeschooling mom of 2. I had tried many different “side hustles” over the previous years, but nothing seemed to work for me. Still, I had a deep desire to move my family forward financially & learn high income skills to run a full online business. When I heard about MRR courses at the time – it seemed to be exactly what I needed. Learning how to fun a full automated business plus having something to sell right away…. I couldn’t get started quick enough.

I started seeing success with this business model, but I knew that selling other peoples products was not going to last forever & I wanted to create something MAJOR for myself that would also help others in a significant way. I took a really hard look at what I was good at, what I thought the market needed, & what I believed in…. I combined all of those things & came up with the idea for The PLR Project.

At the time, it felt risky either way. For the first time, I was making money as a SAHM with MRR. We NEEDED that income & it was changing our familys lives. I felt caught in a weird space between feeling like I should cling onto what was finally working for me & a major urge I had to create something of my own and use what I had learned to really provide value in this digital products space. Ultimately, I knew it was more risky to not go for it & be filled with regret.

For months, I worked hard behind the scenes of my normal life & business on creating The PLR Project. It was no small task… I woke up at 4am & went to bed at midnight. It was tough creating something so massive, keeping up with my normal business, homeschooling my two kids, and just regular life stuff! But boy am I glad I did it anyways!

The hardest part was not knowing how it was going to go after I launched the platform. I had NO idea if anyone was going to like it, or buy it, or if I was just wasting my time. It was an emotional time, but something was telling me that I needed to BET ON ME for once.

In the digital products space at the time, everyone was preaching “monetize your passions with digital products” but NO ONE was really helping people do that. Here is where the real unique idea for The PLR Project was ignited. I took my love for Canva, low ticket digital products, PLR, & the actual desire to help people – combined them all & decided to create a platform that would REALLY help people monetize their passions with digital products.

The idea that ANYONE could come into this platform & have hundreds of done-for-you, high-quality digital products in ANY niche they wanted at their fingertips got me fired up! Something like this would finally make it possible for someone to monetize their motherhood passion, manifestation passion, health & wellness passion, or any passion they had with digital products WITHOUT the headache creating products from scratch.

My name is Courtney & I am the creator of The PLR Project.

I am extremely passionate about help people make an income online through unique done-for-you PLR products in any passion area you have. I believe in affordability, flexibility & freedom with my products.

The products I have created have helped thousands earn an income from home & The PLR Project is making a digital products business extremely accessible to ANYONE.

I am most proud of the fact that the products I offer provide any normal person the ability to truly take whatever passions they have & monetize them online with ease. Because of The PLR Project – anyone has a streamlined way to sell digital products around whatever passions they’re already talking about online.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

Resilience played a MASSIVE role in my story. Just a year ago, my family was in a rough spot financially. The cost of living right now is outrageous, we all know this – I was a SAHM & we were planning to homeschool our 2 kiddos. My husband was making a solid income with his own small landscaping business, but it still wasn’t enough. He was also putting his body through a huge amount of stress day to day working physically hard in the Florida heat. Things got so financially tight we chose to move in with my MIL for some time.

This was a big wake up call for me & still… things got worse. My husband started having some medical issues and suddenly, our income that was already tight – was close to gone. This was it for me…

I was tired of spending energy stressing about money. I was tired of having MONEY be a huge factor in every situation and decision. I knew right then and there that something serious had to change. Time was passing by. Our kids were growing up before our eyes & didn’t want finances to alter how we spent our lives together.

That’s the point where I was willing to do WHATEVER it took to attain my dream life. I was absolutely determined to create financial stability & a life of freedom – even though I had no idea how I was going to do that yet.

That’s when I jumped into learning high income skills online. I started waking up at 4am every day. I stayed up late. I worked hard during naptimes & trusted that if I worked harder than everyone around me – I would figure it out… & that’s exactly what I did.

Within the last year – everything has changed for my family. We have paid off our debts. We have many streams of income. More opportunities open for us every day. We are helping others. I am a true example of how one year of hard, dedicated work can completely change the trajectory of your life.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

I think I was able to build a strong reputation within my market because of this one thing – authenticity.

I never got swept into doing what I saw everyone else doing. In fact, I tended to do quite the opposite.

I saw flaws in what the “influencers” were seeming to do & I stayed true to what I believed in.

I tried to really help people in each phase of my journey. I never tried to “gain a following” & still – I don’t have much of a following. Rather than all of that – I stayed very focused trying to connect with MY people. Throughout it all, I was hyper focused on speaking directly to who I was here to help & communicating effectively HOW I could help them.

I never played games. I never spoke in riddles. I never mislead people.

I am here to help people monetize their passions with digital products in an affordable and simple way & I have ALWAYS made that abundantly clear.

I believe being super authentic in this space has helped me tremendously with building a strong reputation & I will never stray from that.
