We were lucky to catch up with Courtney Clayton Cobb recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Courtney, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?

We sat brainstorming one day when we were in the very beginning days of building the business. We knew we wanted the name to be catchy or have some sort of alliteration. So we thought of all the names associated with cocktails and landed on “libations”. Then we ended up with “luxe” because that’s the adjective we wanted to describe our services. Thus Luxe Libations was born!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Luxe Libations is a mobile bartending company that specializes in offering our clients an elevated drinking experience. We are fully licensed and insured. Along with mobile bartending services, we offer cocktail classes and make cocktail kits.

What sets us apart from others is our attention to detail and the aesthetic of our bar. I’m most proud of the corporate clients that we’ve had the privilege to work with over the past two years. We put together over 200 cocktail kits, shipped them all over the country, and had a virtual cocktail class for a major corporate company!

The main thing I want people to know about Luxe Libations is that we are multifaceted, easy to work with, and make some amazing cocktails! I pride myself on making the entire process from booking to the event as seamless as possible.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?

The best source of clients has been word of mouth and live inquiries. Often times during events a simple introduction and exchange of business information has gotten us bookings. This is why we pride ourselves on making a great impression because oftentimes we are serving our next client!

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

I think that our consistency and networking has helped to build our reputation. There are certain event/ wedding planners that frequently use us and we return the favor by referring their services as well.
