When I decided to create Glorify Beauty and Wellness, it was driven by a deep desire to give back to the community I grew up in and a passion for offering a more holistic approach to beauty and wellness. Growing up, I saw firsthand how many people in my community struggled with balancing wellness and self-care. There was a need for a place that not only focused on aesthetics but also on the overall well-being of individuals. My vision for Glorify was to create a space where beauty treatments are integrated with wellness practices to help people feel their best—inside and out.
At Glorify Beauty and Wellness, the name is deeply rooted in our core values and mission, inspired by a desire to honor God through every aspect of our lives. The word “Glorify” reflects the concept of elevating and honoring the gifts we’ve been given—our bodies, minds, skills, and appearance—in a way that honors God’s design. We believe that taking care of ourselves in a holistic manner is an act of stewardship, showing respect and gratitude for the body and life God has entrusted to us. Every service and treatment we provide is designed with intention, care, and respect, reflecting a deep commitment to honoring God through how we nurture our health, beauty, and wellness.
Key Steps in Establishing the Practice:
Defining the Vision: From the very beginning, my goal was to offer more than just traditional healthcare. I wanted to blend beauty treatments with integrative medicine, focusing on approaches that nourish both the body and mind. I envisioned Glorify Beauty and Wellness as a sanctuary where clients could receive personalized care that promotes long-term wellness, helping them maintain a healthy lifestyle while feeling beautiful.
Community-Centered Focus: Serving my community was a major motivator in launching Glorify. I knew I wanted to provide services that were not only accessible but also tailored to the specific health challenges and goals of the people I grew up with. I conducted research into wellness trends and integrative medicine practices, ensuring that our services would address not just beauty but also health, stress management, and overall well-being.
Research and Market Analysis: Understanding the local market was essential in creating a business that truly catered to the needs of the community. I studied the wellness needs of the area, and I quickly saw a gap in offering integrative wellness blended with beauty services that combined aesthetic treatments with holistic health approaches. This insight helped me refine the services we offered, focusing on skin care, hormone therapy, weight loss, nutrition, and overall health.
Setting Up the Space: I wanted the physical space of Glorify to feel like a peaceful retreat—somewhere clients could unwind, rejuvenate, and leave feeling better than when they arrived. I designed the space to reflect a holistic approach, using calming colors and natural elements to promote a sense of well-being. I sourced eco-friendly products and invested in top-notch equipment that would allow us to offer the highest-quality services.
Building a Client Base and Team: Establishing trust and gaining clients took time, but I knew that by providing a space where beauty and health came together, we would attract a loyal clientele. I grew completely through word of mouth. I focused all my efforts on high quality care that was worth sharing with your family and friends. I annually participate in many free education series and events so people can get to know me and the business philosophy. Many people were accustomed to traditional beauty treatments and weren’t aware of how beauty and wellness could be combined to achieve long-term health benefits. Educating clients about the importance of taking a holistic approach to self-care became a key part of our outreach.

Typically most office visits are over an hour of consultation with one on one focus. Long gone are the days where you only see you doctor for 5 minutes in my clinic.
Education and Confidence Building: The clinic focuses on educating clients about their treatment options and health goals, empowering them to make informed decisions that improve their confidence and long-term wellness. Our clinic offers no pressure in treatment. I truly want you to make the best decision while provided with education and my recommendation.

The main takeaway for me is that I wanted a healthcare service that’s clear and transparent. I want to know exactly what I’m paying for and have the opportunity to work directly with a real person who listens and uses their expertise to guide me in what’s best for my health. During my time in corporate medicine, I noticed that patients were often treated as part of a system, placed into a generic box with broad, one-size-fits-all solutions focused on pharmaceuticals. For me, healthcare is about focusing on the unique needs of the individual in front of me, and that’s what I aim to provide at Glorify.

Putting training and knowledge aside, what else do you think really matters in terms of succeeding in your field?
In addition to training and knowledge, I believe empathy and communication are two of the most essential qualities for succeeding as a healthcare practitioner.
Empathy allows you to connect with patients on a deeper level, understand their unique concerns, and provide compassionate care that makes them feel heard and supported. It’s about seeing beyond the symptoms and considering the person as a whole—emotionally and physically.
Effective communication is equally crucial. It’s not just about explaining a diagnosis or treatment plan clearly, but also listening attentively to what the patient is saying, asking the right questions, and being open to feedback. Building trust and making patients feel comfortable is key to fostering a positive healthcare experience, and it can greatly impact the success of treatment.
Finally, being adaptable and approachable—able to adjust to different situations and patient personalities—helps create an environment where people feel at ease and empowered in their care journey.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
The most effective strategy for growing clientele at Glorify Beauty and Wellness in today’s modern age has been a combination of personalized, authentic connections and leveraging digital marketing.
Building Trust through Word of Mouth and Referrals: One of the most powerful ways to grow a business in this industry is by providing exceptional service that leads to positive experiences. When clients feel truly cared for, they are more likely to share their experiences with friends, family, and social media followers. Offering referral incentives has helped turn satisfied clients into enthusiastic advocates.
Social Media Engagement: Platforms like Instagram, and Facebook are highly visual and provide an ideal way to showcase the transformative results of services. Posting real-unedited before-and-after images, behind-the-scenes glimpses of treatments, client testimonials, and educational content on wellness and beauty has allowed Glorify Beauty and Wellness to establish a strong online presence, attract potential clients, and engage with a wider audience.
Online Reviews and Testimonials: Encouraging happy clients to leave reviews on platforms like Google has proven to be an effective strategy. Positive online reviews build credibility and help new clients feel more confident when choosing your services. I want people to know me and therefore they are typically more honest with me. I can help clients so much better when they trust me and we build a stronger relationship.
Loyalty Programs and Memberships: Offering loyalty programs or memberships that reward clients for regular visits helps build long-term relationships with existing clients while also encouraging them to try more services. These programs foster a sense of community and ensure clients keep coming back. I am often handing out discounts because everyone in my practice is a friend. I support their small business, help put food on their tables and pay their bills and they do the same for me which I am beyond grateful and blessed for.
By focusing on both authentic client relationships and utilizing modern marketing tools, Glorify Beauty and Wellness has been able to grow and maintain a loyal clientele while expanding its reach in a competitive market.
