We recently connected with Cory Loggins and have shared our conversation below.
Cory , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
I knew i wanted to pursue modeling at 15 Years old because of the creative influence that the culture of Atlanta had on me. I grew up surrounded by the entertainment industry from TV and movies to music and fashion. As a kid, I remembered going to prominent malls and often seeing celebrities. A celebrity I’ve met early on in my career is Mimi Faust from Love and hip hop. Then 10yrs later we end up walking in a fashion show together for Miguel Wilson. Meeting her and other celebrities who had not only achieved their dreams, but made it out of the same places I came from showed me that I could do it too. From then on, motivation to go after my dreams of becoming a model and actor only grew.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
With the help from my mom, I got into the industry at a young age. At 16 I got signed to an agency where I started developing meaningful connections by continuing to stay hands on and attending network events and parties like TI’s birthday celebration.
Something that sets me apart from other creatives is where I come from. Being from an inner city, I have witnessed a lot that shaped my outlook on life. That perspective has fueled me to give back to my community and i have big aspirations to help underprivileged dreamers who lack the support I once did, I know the struggle.
I am most proud of myself because I’m proof that hard work and resilience pays off. No matter how long it takes keep going. Timing is everything so I advise anyone to stay ready. I want my followers to know you can achieve anything you set your mind to always stay positive giving is more important than receiving and help the next. Live your life to the fullest. Go for the thing that keeps you up at night. Be bold.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Making my mom happy and my daughter being able to see me work and achieve my dreams and for her to see the journey and the grind I’m on.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect of being a creative is executing a project. Whether it’s preparing for a fashion show, photo shoot red carpet appearance or networking event coming up, the best part is seeing the end result and that’s everything.
