Alright, CORY thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Crazy stuff happening is almost as certain as death and taxes – it’s technically “unexpected” but something unexpected happening is to be expected and so can you share a crazy story with our readers
In the Beverage game, I never knew how cut throat. Bang, & Redbull really are. The craziest thing I’ve experienced is when I had a meeting Bang energy only 2 months into my business and they told me, they me they wanted to crush my business and saw me as a early competitor. I was able to get the product into 7-Eleven and once we did that one day, I walked into one of our 7-Elevens in our product have been taken down out of the cooler by Red Bull. I was told that there Rep came in and said they didn’t want to see our product anywhere near there’s. The coolers are like real estate and it’s all about Market share. It’s so frustrating but each time they removed our product the owners of the store would remove their product and put ours back up.

Unemployment was how I got in. I got laid off from my job in 2020. I started drinking every energy drink I could find. I was alone in a break room at 1pm and drew a W logo on a napkin and called it Warrior Energy Drink. For the next 6 months I researched how to create an energy drink and at month 6 I had the first can in my hand. The goal of Warrior is to make better tasting healthy options for all cultures. Our Tagline is Fueled by Culture so our brand is for everyone. The gym goer, the fisherman, the mom. I am most proud of the fact that this brand started from an idea written on a napkin and is sold Nationwide.
Can you open up about how you funded your business?
I used my own money. Then friends and family started to invest. Currently we launched on Start Engine Mr. Wonderful from Shark Tanks website with a goal of 5 million
