We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Cortni Agnew. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Cortni below.
Alright, Cortni thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
Taking risks has always been integral to my journey. Ten years ago, my husband and I defied the odds by marrying after two decades of friendship, a decision that laid the foundation for our family. Originally from Chicago, I relocated to Georgia in 2016 with a vision of enhancing our quality of life. Continuing my career in sales, I ventured into technology, undergoing a transformative four-week immersive tech training program in Toronto, Canada. With newfound certifications and a hunger for success, we took the leap to secure our dream home and pursue our aspirations. I’ve navigated the challenge of prioritizing my personal talents and gifts alongside corporate success. Balancing these aspects of life can be daunting, yet crucial for personal fulfillment. Taking a leap of faith in oneself is paramount.
Cortni , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m Cortni J – your go-to girlie for all things lifestyle, food, and the beautiful chaos that is family life. As a wife, mom, and enthusiastic home chef, I’m here to turn the ordinary into extraordinary.
In my little corner of the internet, I’m on a mission to inspire and educate, sharing glimpses into my world to help you shine a little brighter. I believe in the power of connection and the joy of discovering the magic in our everyday lives.
Partnering with brands that seamlessly integrate into our daily routines is my specialty. I thrive on collaborations that enhance the lives of my social media family and me because let’s face it – life is better when it’s shared.
But it’s not all about the practicalities. I take pride in finding the luxury in simplicity, illuminating the world around me with a touch of glamour. From elevated restaurant reviews to mouthwatering recipes, and brand user-generated content, I invite my audience to join me on this beautiful journey through life
Every day, I’m a mom getting my kids ready for school, a tech problem-solver for corporate clients, a collaborator with small brands to boost their visibility, and a creative expressionist. By night, my husband and I explore new eateries for my restaurant review column in the Gwinnett Daily Post.
My greatest source of pride? Being present. I thrive on balancing it all, maximizing my time, and pursuing my passions to the fullest.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My goal is sustainable growth, achieved by leveraging my talents to positively impact others. I’m confident in my ability to juggle multiple roles: content creator, writer, singer-songwriter, and devoted mom and wife. I’m passionate about forging strategic brand partnerships and fostering meaningful connections to facilitate inspiring collaborations.
How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
We’re witnessing a transformative shift in the traditional workforce landscape, opening up countless opportunities for individuals to embrace and expand upon their unique talents. While support begins at home, it’s imperative for school districts to play a pivotal role in nurturing these abilities. While STEM education remains crucial given its impact on societal issues, we must also emphasize the synergy between creativity and STEM fields. Building students’ confidence in their creative abilities is essential. Aligning their talents with meaningful roles in the workforce and entrepreneurial endeavors not only benefits individuals but also contributes to societal progress!
