We were lucky to catch up with Corrina Roppo recently and have shared our conversation below.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Since I was little, I’ve always been singing, dancing, and performing for people. I performed in my first school talent show, singing and playing piano when I was eight years old, I grew up playing sports, participated in theatre, and released my first single ‘Body Heat’ in 2021. Never did I think it would lead me to a reality dating show in the South of France (though, my dating life has always been rather entertaining). On this journey I was accompanied by my brother, Joey, and we were given the task to wingman for each other and help the other find love. It was rollercoaster of an adventure to say the least. After that experience, we immediately started creating more music. Joey is a guitarist and dancer, so we have always worked well together. He writes the music, I write the lyrics and melodies. With the highs and lows of being a hopeless romantic, I continually have a lot of musical inspiration. I create songs, videos, and dances, for everyone to feel seen and uplifted. To know that they aren’t alone in their heartache and that we can smile and cry through the adversities together. Through music and social media, I aspire to create a community of authenticity and fun. I can’t wait to share my next musical project with you!
