We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Corrie Christian. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Corrie below.
Hi Corrie, thanks for joining us today. It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.
I started my company with all the risks but with so much hope! I never even dreamed of where or what this whole thing would become. I took a leap of faith at 18 years old and launched a floral and wedding business. I began a journey marked by hard work and long hours. I always loved to work with people and to create, and this was a passion that helped fuel my company and vision.
Through so many challenges, I found solace in faith. With each hurdle, I discovered resilience and courage I didn’t know I possessed. The journey remained a risk, but the rewards were beyond imagination.
Looking back, I’m amazed at the path I’ve walked. It’s a journey of risks embraced, dreams pursued, and growth achieved. Through it all, I’ve learned that with faith, never giving up and a supportive community, even the boldest ventures can flourish.

Corrie, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I own an Aesthetic Event Design company (333 Designs) along with a retail Flower and Gift Shop (Coco Christian). As an aesthetic designer, we specialize in crafting immersive event experiences, orchestrating everything from floral arrangements to curating event themes. Our scope covers a wide range, including designing floral arrangements, selecting linens, candles, and rentals, and handling setup and cleanup. Our brand is built on the ethos of bringing visions to life while fostering a sense of service and care. We extend our support by offering prayers for our clients, aiming to simplify and enhance the event design process. Whether it’s a grand event or a simple gift arrangement, we’re dedicated to brightening lives through creativity and thoughtfulness.
I started my business in 2008, I saw a need, stressed brides and their mothers and thought it had to be different. I set a booth at a local bridal fair and never looked back. The company has grown and evolved into so much more than I could have ever even dreamed so many years ago.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
Being a creative artist is a journey of endless rewards. The true beauty lies not just in the art we create, but the impact we leave on people’s lives. I am fortunate to be surrounded by positivity and hardworking individuals, both within my team and among the clients I serve. Every day, I’m reminded that my staff isn’t just a team; they’re my family. Working with them is an honor that fills my heart with gratitude.
The joy of this journey goes beyond a job—it’s a daily adventure that’s both exciting and invigorating. Crafting and curating beauty is my passion, and I’m privileged to share it with brides and families as they embark on life’s precious milestones. Witnessing their dreams transform into breathtaking realities is a privilege that constantly reaffirms the magic of creativity and human connections.
In this world of colors and imagination, the biggest reward is the love and impact we leave on people’s hearts. As a creative artist, I cherish the opportunity to make life’s moments extraordinary, to weave emotions into art, and to create memories that last a lifetime.

Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?
In the early days of my business journey, my greatest struggle was finances. Determined to make my dream a reality, I invested everything, even risking my personal credit score. However, I wished for better resources for financial management and accessible working capital, especially as a woman-owned business. I envision a future where such support empowers women entrepreneurs to flourish without undue financial strain.
