We were lucky to catch up with Conscious Queen recently and have shared our conversation below.

Conscious, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?

Conscious Queen was actually inspired by a popular YouTuber named Conjure Queen. I learned a lot from watching her videos, as I was growing into my spirituality, which is strange how I was drawn to tarot and astrology. So I have an Instagram page @conscious_tarot1111 where I highlight astrological transits. I also have a YouTube channel where I talk about New Moon and Full Moon energies, so if you’re into that, definitely check out my channel at Conscious Queen_1111. I’m trying to build my channel with likeminded people who are drawn to this kind of spirituality.

Conscious, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Astrology and tarot just kind of snuck up on me in the middle of a midlife crisis. My daughter had been taken by her father in the midst of a custody battle, which was all out of control and jealousy honestly because I had raised my daughter without him. But, wondering and wanting to be able to predict, just something to ease my anxieties and I came to learn that astrology is very real and the tarot cards don’t lie! We may misinterpret them or misunderstand them but tarot is very real!

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?

I watch astrologers on YouTube such as Kesenya Moore, I used to watch Lady Duncheva…Nadia Shaw…..Heather’s Astrology….(I still watch her) , Coyote Star, like just a lot of spiritualists who have large followings on YouTube and that is what inspired me to start taking classes with Nightlight Astrology and digging deeper into astrology. I also have the AstroMatrix app, which I partner with them on Instagram because I promote their information, I actually use that app for my astrological studies and reflections. Astrology books are great ways to get a better understanding of the energies of the planets and a lot of these awesome astrologers have classes that are very cost effective as well.

If you have multiple revenue streams in your business, would you mind opening up about what those streams are and how they fit together?
