Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Connie Costa. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Connie , appreciate you joining us today. Do you take vacations? How do you keep things going – any advice for entrepreneurs who feel like they can’t step away from their business for a short vacation?
Absolutely! One of my specialties is creating luxury experiences for hard-working entrepreneurs in Sicily, Italy. I custom-design these magical itineraries where entrepreneurs can relax, reboot, recharge, and regenerate. I don’t just suggest that entrepreneurs take vacations; I urge them to! We often get so caught up in our busy lives that we forget how crucial it is to stop and take time for ourselves.
Self-care is a form of self-love, a magical ingredient when creating the life and career we dream of. When we practice self-care, we become clear-headed, and that gives space for inspiration.
We become even more inspired when relaxed and can access our creative side. Nature does the trick, so I design an itinerary that includes lots of nature time, whether a majestic mount, a beautiful beach, a magical forest, etc.
Getting burnout helps no one. It certainly doesn’t improve our work, and we cannot activate the creative inspiration needed to succeed.
For me, vacations are crucial. As an extremely busy entrepreneur, the best way to show up for my clients is to be relaxed and care for myself. I am also setting an example.
As a matter of fact, my birthday is coming up, and I have a tradition for my birthday that has been going on for as long as I remember. I never work on my birthday, and I am always on vacation in a gorgeous setting by the water. I need to wake up to a beautiful view and be lounging in a pool or the sea all day. Then I have the most delicious meals on my birthday vacations. I also ensure I get massages and lots of time to relax. Now that’s the way to do a birthday!
Vacations are not just essential for us to unwind but also for us to grow a stronger bond with our family. We are different when we travel. We are more relaxed, in a better mood, and generally happier. Because of this, our significant others or children get a better version of ourselves. It’s been proven that families get closer and that these memories last a lifetime. Material things come and go, but experiences are the ones that remain in every fiber of our being.
So yes, my advice is to STEP AWAY! Please do it for your business, and especially do it for you. You will see all the magic you will start creating and manifesting as you learn to take better care of yourself.

Connie , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I assist my clients in creating the life and career of their dreams. We get very clear on their life purpose, which, more often than not, stems from their childhood pain. I teach them how to turn their pain into passion and to help others in similar situations. I know you can have a life you love and get paid for living your life’s purpose. I help them see how they can design their own life, schedule, and salary and create a life beyond their wildest dreams.
As a Law of Attraction & Manifesting expert, I can teach my clients simple tools to attract the life, career, relationship, etc., they desire. I use Spiritual techniques and channel when I am with my clients. Intuitive counseling is one of my greatest gifts. Coaching is a holy exchange, and I love what I do. I want everyone to share this feeling of exhilaration when living their life’s purpose.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
The good old-fashioned way: word of mouth! Most of my clients come to me because they have seen the results in their friends, family members, co-workers, etc. The primary way I get clients is when my client gets so excited about their transformation and, thus, tell the world. There is no better marketing tool than letting your work and results speak for themselves. I create transformational results, but seeing the results yourself will have a different impact.
I am also good with social media and have built a good following through all my channels. I have lots of fun with social media, so it’s always come naturally to me. I show my lifestyle and what I’ve been able to accomplish in my own life to display that you, too, could have an extraordinary and fun life you love.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
That you must work super hard in other to be successful; furthermore, if it seems like you have it easy, it’s not as respectable; and the truth is, most of the world still believes this. This thought was first challenged when I told my mentor, Alan Cohen, “You must work hard to get anything in life!” Alan responded, “Connie, do you realize this is just a belief and nothing more than a belief? And whatever you believe will be true to you!”
“What?” I was completely mind-blown. He further explained that it might be better to acquire the belief that “things come easy to me” rather than working so hard to have anything in my life. Alan’s motto was to “allow life to be easy” and “how much better can it get?”
These beliefs were such a dramatic difference from what I grew up believing that to this day, there are times when I need to remind myself that I can allow life to be easier. So many of us work, work, and work, and don’t realize that it leads more to burnout than success. Trusting and allowing is what truly brings you closer to success.
