Cole & Morgan, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Looking back, do you think you started your business at the right time? Do you wish you had started sooner or later

Looking back at everything that has happened to lead us to where we are today, we firmly believe that God has been writing our story all along and His timing is perfect. We are so grateful for the experience and knowledge that has shaped us into the design and build team we are today.

We both had prior careers, Cole in commercial construction and myself in the business industry. Starting later or sooner would have drastically altered our experience. Cole’s background gave us a unique edge in understanding the ins and outs of the construction industry while my work in the business sector equipped us with the necessary abilities to start a successful company. Through this process and building our first home together, I was also able to discover and develop my love for interior design.

Transitioning from the demands of the corporate world to being our own bosses and creating a business that we are both very passionate about has brought us unparalleled flexibility and fulfillment. We hope that our passion shines through in every home that we build.

We built County Line Custom Homes with an unwavering commitment to fuse elevated design with impeccable craftsmanship. We are a luxury custom home builder that services Austin and the surrounding Texas Hill Country. We are a husband and wife, design and build team. We believe the design of a home is just as important as the build and our ability to work together throughout the entire process really sets us apart.

As a boutique-style builder, we place our emphasis on quality over quantity and limit our projects to a select handful each year. This deliberate approach allows us to provide an unparalleled level of customer service. Our clients appreciate the opportunity to work directly with us throughout the entire design and build process. We value these personal connections and believe they contribute to the success of each project.

We take great pride in delivering not just a beautiful home, but a seamless and enjoyable building experience. We find immense satisfaction in handing over the keys to our clients, knowing the hard work, dedication, and attention to detail that went into creating their dream home. Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?

County Line Custom Homes received the necessary funding to begin operations through the trust and support of a few of our family members, who generously invested in our first two spec home projects. Their belief in our vision played a vital role in establishing our credibility within the industry. To showcase our work, we made the decision to sell our house and move into one of these homes. This provided us with a “model home” to invite potential clients, giving them an opportunity to experience the quality and craftsmanship we offer. The sale of the other house during its framing stage further demonstrated the demand for our work. These projects laid the foundation for our reputation and we are incredibly grateful for their unwavering faith and support of our business.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

Our reputation within the market has been built on a strong foundation of knowledge and experience. As a design and build duo, our unique combination of skills has played a vital role. With Cole’s degree in Construction Engineering Technology and nearly a decade of commercial construction experience, he possesses a deep understanding of all aspects of the build process. This expertise enables us to provide comprehensive solutions and maintain a high level of quality in our projects. Additionally, my eye for interior design brings a perfect blend of style and practicality to our work, enhancing the overall appeal and functionality of the spaces we create.
