We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Cody Wainner. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Cody below.
Alright, Cody thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Do you have any advice regarding quality control and maintaining quality as your brand grows?
Our main goal is to not cut corners and put out beautiful one of a kind pieces.
Cody, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

We know the devil is in the details, so we offer many different suggestions on how to achieve the desired form and function of your ideas. We have experience collaborating with designers, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and clients to get the job done. We will work with you every step of the way to make sure your vision becomes reality. You dream it, we build it!
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
A period of my life that specifically stands out as far as having to pivot is when I got into my career in fabricati0n. I previously had a career as a building engineer that supplied a very large paycheck, but demanded a very heavy workload, hours, and low job satisfaction. I did not enjoy my job at all
On my off time I did a lot of fabrication working in the garage building my ’55 Chevy truck. I enjoyed every minute of it. I decided, maybe it was time to try something new for a career. Why not get paid to do what I enjoy? I applied to a fabrication company and got a job. If I decided to proceed with this decision, a large pay-cut would follow along with the anxiety of starting a new career that I wasn’t even sure would end up working out. Would the risk be worth the reward?
Turns out, it was and my new job was awesome. While working with this new company, I learned an outstanding amount of great skills and received valuable experience that honed my fabrication skills. I eventually started Deluxe Built and have loved every second of it, the good, and the bad.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Our reputation for being creative problem solvers allows us to wiggle out of just about any issue that follows during a project. Being able to create solutions to problems gives us an opportunity to complete something out of a seemingly impossible situation.
We also hold ourselves to a high standard of quality control. “Good enough” is not good enough at Deluxe Built. We strive to perfect our methods in order to produce the highest quality product possible to always leave our clients satisfied and willing to spread the word of our good work.
