We recently connected with Cody Digerolamo and have shared our conversation below.
Cody, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
Next month, I’ll be releasing a new single called Nothing but Love, the first song I ever wrote for my wife. It reflects on the small, everyday moments that define our relationship—the quiet spaces where love exists. I’m excited to share it with the world, along with a music video directed by I Heart Creative, which was shot on Super 8.
Nothing but Love doesn’t aim to be grand or complicated. Its honest, simple chorus—’I’ve got nothing but love for you’—expresses what words often fail to capture.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Hi! My name is Cody DiGerolamo, and I am an actor and singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, CA.
From a very young age, I was drawn to the arts. My earliest memories are of attending a Montessori school, where we spent our days painting and playing music. I vividly remember sitting in a circle with my classmates, playing various percussion instruments. Those moments of creating music together had a profound impact on me.
Shortly after, I began taking piano lessons, and that’s when my passion for music really took off. Watching “School of Rock” for the first time ignited an interest in drums, and before I knew it, I was exploring other instruments. I taught myself to play guitar, bass, banjo, ukulele, and more. By the age of 13, I was writing, recording, and performing my own original music.
My love for the arts didn’t stop at music. As a child, I was captivated by the physical comedy of Jim Carrey. I loved entertaining my friends and family with impressions, relishing the joy and laughter I could bring to them. This passion for performance led me to beg my parents to let me pursue acting. Despite their initial hesitation—having been in the industry themselves and knowing its challenges—they eventually agreed.
With their support, I dove headfirst into acting and booked my first audition at age 10. The thrill of performing and the satisfaction of knowing exactly what I wanted to do from such a young age has been a guiding light in my life. While the journey has been long and sometimes challenging, I consider it a beautiful curse—an unwavering passion that has shaped who I am today.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Navigating a career in acting and music has certainly had its share of obstacles and challenges. Embracing rejection and uncertainty as a reality is easier said than done—especially for someone whose job is to feel deeply. Lately, though, I’ve found freedom in treating auditions as opportunities to play without worrying about right or wrong. I’ve allowed myself to let go of expectations and lean into my inner child. Balancing both careers has been a delicate dance, and the most rewarding part has been my perseverance and resilience.

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
