We recently connected with Codi Robinson Soto and have shared our conversation below.
Codi , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Owning a business isn’t always glamorous and so most business owners we’ve connected with have shared that on tough days they sometimes wonder what it would have been like to have just had a regular job instead of all the responsibility of running a business. Have you ever felt that way?
As a business owner, I have never been happier.
I am a wellness coach and hair care formulator. This means that I help people to become more aware of their own health. I also make products for them to use in their daily lives. I love this because it allows me to be creative and it allows me to work from home.
I can balance my work with my family life easily because of the flexibility of this job.
I have been a part of this industry for about three years now and it has been an incredible journey so far!
Codi , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Braids Milk And Honey is my first business I started in 2018, in my basement. My husband helped me get started with $150. Today, 2023, I have elevated the business more, learning from mistakes from when I first started.
I am now also a Holistic Wellness/Life Coach through my brand Zen Healing Holistic’s.
I started my healing journey at the end of 2021 and continued it, showing my friends, family and followers that change is good. Heal from the inside out while you still can.
Discipline yourself so that you can walk through the doors you want to become successful.
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
The methods I use to keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty is to make sure your customers know who you are, what you stand for and why they should come back to buy from you again. This can be achieved through a number of channels, including social media, emails, text messages and newsletters.
In terms of the content that you share on each channel, it’s important not only to keep it relevant but also interesting enough so that your audience will want to read it. Some examples include:
– Promotional offers
– New product launches
– Articles about industry trends or developments that could impact your business
– Customer testimonials
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I think what helped me build my reputation within my market as a holistic wellness coach was the fact that I always made sure to stay on top of the latest in wellness research and trends. I knew that if I kept up with everything that was going on, I would be able to provide better client services.
Additionally, I also found that being honest with clients about what I could and couldn’t do helped me build trust with them. When they knew what to expect from me and what my limitations were, they were more likely to come back for another session of coaching.
