We caught up with the brilliant and insightful CocoBay Ragni a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

CocoBay, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Are you happier as a business owner? Do you sometimes think about what it would be like to just have a regular job?

We wouldn’t have it any other way!!!, This is a dream come true for both of us. We always wanted to have our own business, and be in control of our own destiny while loving every second of what we do.

We have taken the things we have loved, and turned them into a business, so if we are working 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, we never complain, because our online stores are open 24/7 and are always striving to give 110% Excellent Customer Service and Products.

We have been on the other end, working those 12 hour days, 50-60 hours a day, doing all the work for someone else, to end up not being appreciated at the end of the day, now we appreciate each other, our opportunity, and our customers!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

CocoBay the couple started just over 3 years ago, both of us with backgrounds in the world of entertainment, Coco (Singer / Songwriter, Comedian & Writer) and Bay (Pro Wrestler, Musician and Podcaster), so are initial plans were to be content creators, well that quickly changed as we discovered we both had a love of thrifting and being like American Pickers, so we thought let’s do our own version for YouTube, TikTok, etc and add in another love of ours, Food, so we also do food reviews and cooking videos.

Once we discovered the world of YouTube Resellers, it truly opened our hearts to the business even more, and it’s a constant learning on things to buy to be able to flip, and what are the hot items to keep an eye out for, so not only do we have to keep researching, but we are also making videos to teach how we do things, or how we made mistakes and learn from what we did wrong.

What constantly sets us apart is that CocoBay, are the perfect partners in love and business, and have the same work ethic, desire, heart and positive attitude to keep building our business and life together. We both realize, we aren’t in a race, this is a marathon for life, and we are both in 110%

We love when we get messages from our customers, thanking us for items they purchased from us, that could be hard to find, or like recently, a woman messaged us, thanking us for replacing a Star Wars pillow, that her son lost in a house fire. We were blown away, that something like that, could truly mean so much to someone else.

We also love to make our fans laugh, and do goofy funny videos, so you never know what will pop up on our channel, or socials, you truly need to follow, because we never know what to expect, so we will keep everyone on their toes as well….. lol

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?

YouTube, Cannot Stress enough how important YouTube has been to us, as business owners, a couple and just as humans, it helps us with our research for our business, but also we use it for meditation, exercise, and inspiration.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?

We have the craziest story on how we met, that is so interesting, Coco’s sister was on a VH1 Reality Show, in which Bay ended up interviewing on his podcast and in turn a friendship was formed.

Six month’s later, Bay interviewed Coco and her sister, to talk about a possible reality show they were filming, that ended up getting dropped by the network, and that first interview almost 8 years ago sent off instant fireworks between the two, that became reality 5 years later, when Bay won a contest to come to Nashville for a Podcast convention.

CocoBay met, and have been inseparable since!!
