We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Coco Crowder. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Coco below.
Coco, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
I would say the biggest risk I have taken is diving into Entrepreneurship full-time. It was scary at first, honestly it still makes me nervous. Trends are always changing and evolving and the will to keep up with them takes a lot out of you. The reward is knowing you made a difference and that you will play a role in some part of history.
I took my leap of faith in 2015 when I realized that I was spreading myself too thin between my full time job and my “side-hustle”. One was making me happier than the other and made me feel like I mattered and it wasn’t the full-time job. With the faith of my support system and the trust I had in my abilities to succeed I knew that I could not and would not fail. I left the corporate world and haven’t looked back since.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Opening my own event space has been something that I have always wanted to do. I would love to have my own space to create memorable experiences with people in my community and beyond.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
My audience was building through connections, clients and aesthetics. Social media is primarily a visual tool and if it isn’t appealing, you won’t attract. I make sure to have visually appealing content by way of working with other amazing creatives in photo and video. It is also super important to me to be human. Interacting with my community is crucial. I try not to speak like a robot or make myself seem out of touch with human life LOL. Events are important to people and my audience wants to feel like the are interacting with someone who believes they are just as important.
