Hi Clydia, thanks for joining us today. Are you happy as a creative professional? Do you sometimes wonder what it would be like to work for someone else?

There are days when I love being a creative with every fiber of my being, and then there are days where I catch myself wondering: what would life be like if I just had a regular 9-to-5?

I’ve had nights where I’ve cried myself to sleep, exhausted from pushing through creative blocks, feeling like my breakthrough is so close yet so far. I’ve stayed up until sunrise, staring at my work, wondering if it’s enough, if I’m enough. And sometimes, I think about what life would be like if I just gave in to the comfort of a regular job; clocking in and out, living on someone else’s schedule, knowing exactly what each paycheck will look like.

But the truth is, I don’t want that life. I don’t want to spend my days building someone else’s dream. I want to be my own boss, get paid for being myself, and create a life where I have the freedom to do whatever I want, whenever I want. I want to express myself without limits, to wake up excited because every day is a new chance to create, connect, and inspire.

I’m chasing financial freedom on my own terms. I want to travel the world, explore places I’ve only dreamed of, and show others that it’s possible to live a life that’s both fulfilling and authentically yours. Yes, the late nights, tears, and struggles are real. But they’re part of the journey. They’re part of my story.

And if even one person sees my journey and feels inspired to chase their own dreams, then every sleepless night is worth it. Because I know, deep down, my moment is coming. My breakthrough is coming. And when it does, it’s going to be on my terms.

My name is Clydia, and I’m a beauty, fashion, and lifestyle influencer, as well as a UGC (user-generated content) creator. I have a passion for inspiring people to live authentically, embrace their creativity, and design a life they truly love. My journey into this industry wasn’t linear; it came from a mix of curiosity, passion, and persistence. I’ve always been drawn to self-expression, whether through style, skincare, or sharing glimpses of my life. I started creating content as a way to connect with others, document my interests, and provide value to people who, like me, are looking for ways to feel confident, live well, and embrace their unique path. As a creator, I specialize in producing authentic, engaging, and relatable content. My work spans across beauty tutorials, product reviews, lifestyle tips, vlogs and more. I collaborate with brands I believe in; brands that align with my values and resonate with my audience. Whether it’s showcasing a skincare routine that tackles hyperpigmentation (a personal struggle I’ve worked hard to manage) or taking you guys along with me to experience new experiences, places, people and food. For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

The best part of being a creative is the freedom it gives me to carve out my own path. It’s not just about producing content; it’s about telling stories, sparking inspiration, and showing others what’s possible when you stay true to yourself. There’s nothing more fulfilling than knowing my work has impacted someone’s confidence or perspective. Being able to design a life that reflects my passions and creativity is the ultimate reward.

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?

Several resources have shaped my entrepreneurial mindset, especially around manifestation and personal growth. The Secret by Rhonda Byrne introduced me to the law of attraction and the power of positive thinking. Abraham Hicks’ teachings on energy and the law of attraction have helped me align my mindset with my goals. You Are a Badass by Jen Sincero boosted my confidence and helped me overcome self-doubt, while Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill focused on persistence, goal setting, and the importance of a positive environment. Visualization has been key in manifesting success and staying aligned with my goals, and Joe Dispenza’s work on meditation and reprogramming the mind has been transformative. The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle reminded me of the importance of mindfulness in creativity and business. The Universe Has Your Back by Gabrielle Bernstein taught me to trust the universe and let go of fear, and Tony Robbins’ work on personal development and taking massive action has shaped my approach to business. Lastly, Atomic Habits by James Clear provided a framework for creating habits that drive consistent success. These resources have helped me shift my mindset, stay aligned with my goals, and attract the opportunities that drive my business forward.
