We recently connected with Cliff Bramble and have shared our conversation below.
Cliff, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
Success is on the individual. If they have dreams, the drive, and the determination, one can succeed at anything.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I’ve been in the restaurant industry for forty years plus I’ve been in the real estate investment side for ten years. I help startups, review pitch decks, help with business plans, operations, growth, and opportunities to make business owners more money. For the real estate side, I help with location of property as well as a buyers and sellers agent as a Georgia REALTOR.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Resilience in needed in business. An example of a situation with me is upon the opening of a new restaurant, the restrooms pipes became clogged. On the first night, water was overflowing into the dining room, the bar, and hallways. It was not fun. There I was mopping the floor for hours while trying to figure out where the water was coming from. The solution was to first get temporary restrooms set up. Then repair the clogged pipe. If you fall down or encounter problems, you have to be patient enough to to solve them.
Have you ever had to pivot?
Pivoting during COVID was essential. First, at Noble Fin, I created an online store for restaurant menu items. We sold them online for pickup. Then, I added bleach, towels, TP, and products that could help our customers. We reached our customers via email and they ordered a ton of items. The challenge was that we were a restaurant and not equipped to be a to go place but we made it through.
