We recently connected with Cledra Gross and have shared our conversation below.
Cledra, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Life Coaching found me during a very challenging season of my life. I had spent several years trying to save my marriage while also investing over $25,000 to become a biological Mom. Both attempts failed. As a daughter of parents who were only married once I felt like a failure to not be able to save my marriage. Being blessed with an amazing Mother, 2 grandmothers , several aunts and even a great grand mother continuing my legacy of being a great Mother was a dream that turned into my worst nightmare. Through 3 failed pregnancies I gained a lot of weight but didn’t gain the family of my dreams. So I hired a life coach, lost over 70 lbs, wrote my first book “Rewrite Your Story” and I committed myself to helping other women go from tragedy to triumph. As my business grew I got more questions about how to turn your story into a book and business so from that point I expanded to include life and business coaching. My unique approach is that I have lived and studied what I coach. I understand the head and heart of transformation. What excites me most about what I do is the ripple affect of helping a woman create more impact, influence and income.
Cledra, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I help women who have always felt like they didn’t quite fit in with everyone else. The journey to discovering the many gifts of not fitting in leads my clients to fully step into their unique world position. I help them live authentically in life AND business. My coaching is based on cognitive behavioral therapy as well as neuroscience principles. With a background in Chemical Engineering and over 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry I bring a unique skillset to the coaching container for my clients. I love private coaching where my clients can get a tailored customized approach to address their specific needs. In Next Level Coaching we take both your life and business to the “next level”.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I have built my practice primarily from posting on social media and building genuine relationships online. Over 10 years in at this point I’ve created a method to attract clients who are ready to invest in coaching. I help other business owners do the same.

I started building my business while I had a full time job. When I got laid off unexpectedly that’s when my business took off. When there’s one option and that’s to grow your business its amazing how creative we can become.
