Clay, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?

We’ve worked hard on our 2nd album, “High and Lonesome” and are super excited to release it. We worked with an amazing producer in Springfield MO, Oran Thornton. Oran has worked with so many great artists and we are happy to be added to that roster. We feel this new album is our best work to date.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

We are an original Southern Rock and Country band that was formed in 2020. We all played in bands off and on with each other for 10 years before we decide to start our own band. Starting a band during the pandemic was certainly not an ideal environment and we had many hardships that first year. However, we’ve grown and expanded so much from when we started 3 years ago. We pride ourselves with the quality of music we release and the energy of our live shows.

In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?

The best way to support new artists, is to buy their songs, buy their merchandise, go out and see them live, share them on social media. We do this because we love interacting with the crowd. Seeing how our music can positively affect someone is so rewarding. Support your local artists the same way you support big time artists

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

The most rewarding part of playing music is seeing how your songs that you’ve put your heart and soul in, affect others. To see how they interpret songs and to know that something you worked so hard on is loved by others. There is no greater reward than someone coming up and telling us that one of our songs is their favorite.
