“My mission with @xmasbyclau is to bring the magic of Christmas to life for families and businesses, creating spaces filled with joy, warmth, and unforgettable memories. Growing up in Mexico, Christmas was always a special time for me—it was about family, traditions, and the little moments that brought us closer together. When I moved to the United States, I realized how much I missed that sense of connection and magic during the holidays.

Starting this business allowed me to channel my passion for Christmas and share it with others. I wanted to help people create spaces where they could celebrate love, tradition, and togetherness. Every tree I decorate tells a story—whether it’s a family cherishing their cultural heritage or a business spreading cheer to their clients.

This mission is deeply personal for me. It’s not just about decorating trees; it’s about creating experiences that make the holiday season unforgettable. Seeing the joy and gratitude on my clients’ faces reminds me why I do this. “My name is Claudia Revilla, and I am the founder of @xmasbyclau, a Christmas tree decoration service based in Dallas, Texas. Growing up in Mexico, Christmas was always the most magical time of the year for me. It was a season filled with traditions, family gatherings, and beautifully decorated spaces that created an atmosphere of love and joy. When I moved to the United States, I wanted to bring that same sense of magic and connection to others, and that’s how @xmasbyclau was born.

At @xmasbyclau, I specialize in creating bespoke Christmas decorations for homes and businesses. From custom-designed Christmas trees to festive décor that transforms any space, my goal is to create warm, welcoming environments where people can celebrate the holidays with their loved ones. I take the time to truly understand my clients’ preferences, styles, and stories, so every design reflects their personality and vision.

What sets me apart is the personal care and passion I pour into every project. I don’t just decorate—I create meaningful experiences. Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

When I moved to Dallas from Mexico, it was a life-changing experience. Leaving behind the culture, traditions, and environment I had always known was both exciting and challenging. I was starting from scratch in a new country, without the familiar support systems I had grown up with. However, I was determined to create a new chapter for myself and my family.

One of the most pivotal moments in my journey was realizing that my love for Christmas, a passion I had carried with me since childhood, could become something more than just a personal joy. I decided to turn that love into a business—@xmasbyclau—a service dedicated to decorating Christmas trees and bringing the magic of the holidays to others.

Starting a business in a new country was no small feat. I faced language barriers, cultural differences, and the challenge of building a brand from scratch in a highly competitive market. There were moments of self-doubt and times when I felt overwhelmed. But instead of giving up, I leaned on the resilience my parents instilled in me growing up. They always taught me that hard work, perseverance, and a positive attitude could help overcome any obstacle.

One of the most challenging seasons came early in my business journey. I had taken on more clients than I thought I could handle, and there were days when I worked long hours to ensure every client’s tree was perfect. It was physically and emotionally exhausting, but seeing the joy on my clients’ faces when they saw their beautifully decorated homes reminded me why I started this journey.

Today, I’m proud to say that @xmasbyclau has grown into something beyond my expectations. I’ve decorated over 40 trees in a single season, worked with wonderful families and businesses, and created countless holiday memories for my clients.
Every challenge I faced helped me grow stronger, more creative, and more determined. Resilience is what allowed me to turn a dream into reality, and it continues to guide me as I expand my business and inspire others to follow their passions.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

I don’t think there is a guide or instructions for social media, my goal is to have real followers who like my content and show them with my posts, videos or reels what I am most passionate about in my work, that they feel the same emotion and affection with which I do my work and be able to connect with them and transmit it. Nowadays social media is completely full of competition, challenges and it moves very fast, but not me, I enjoy the moment and I know that in the future the people who follow me, follow me because they like what I do.
