Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Claudia Granger. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Claudia thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Do you take vacations? Why or why not?
I certainly do! And it is no coincidence that you are asking me this question when it just became a topic with my clientele.
I believe taking vacations is a part of work/life balance and contributes to health and well-being so that you are more productive in what you do.
Today, however, I see that many of my clients don’t take vacations and from that issues arise. Burnt-out syndrome is just one of them. Another factor is dehumanization. If you don’t have time to think or be creative, you become functional like a machine, and in the end destructive to your inner self.
A positive aspect of Covid was the chance to have a pause in the automatism of life and re-think one’s life’s purpose.
I enjoyed the many clients who used that involuntary time off to think for themselves and to start feeling themselves again.
So many people are numb, which leads, in my opinion, to a mental health crisis.
In Europe and during the times of my parents, one earner was enough to fulfill the financial household needs. Today it takes mostly 2 people to make it happen. I wonder why that is. Shouldn’t industrialization and technicalization make our life better and easier?
In Germany, where I originate, it did not hurt anyone’s productivity to have naturally 3-4 weeks’ vacation time.
In the US you must fight for every day of vacation time in your employment. Many of my clients save vacation days for emergencies and are happy to have just a long weekend.
And yes, a long weekend can count as a vacation. Anything which gets your mind off work and which lets you think and
hear your thoughts count as a vacation.
However, we start to unwind and feel ourselves after the 2nd week of time off, and in the 3 rd week, we truly regenerate and recuperate to full capacity and are joyfully and ready to tackle new problems.
Not taking vacations or not being able to afford vacations can easily lead to living through other people’s projected experiences and creates a further gap between wishful thinking and reality, which can lead to. more mental discomforts. We see a younger generation that lives through TikTok and other social media accounts in a fantasy life, which is
far from reality. No wonder the younger generation flees into virtual reality so easily for escapism.
A lot of questions can arise from this disparity. Why cannot everyone who works afford a vacation? Why does our society support the ever-expanding gap between social classes? Why do we spend more money on medication for mental health problems than going to the root cause of mental health issues?
In my opinion, it is absolutely important for one’s sanity, especially in this day and time, to take time off work and the world’s problems and just be. No TV, no phone, no dramatic news, just the self.
And yes, I belong to the old-fashioned group that happily takes their shoes off to feel the grass under their feet or the sand between their toes.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
At the moment, I work mostly to stabilize people in their day-to-day problems to bring them back to equilibrium and to bring their joy and zest for life back. Joy is one of the greatest motivators in life.
I am a psychic medium and life coach. Since childhood, I did not only see spirits, but it was easy for me to understand people’s patterns and the general patterns of cause and effect in this reality.
As a soul empath, I can sense what people came here to do, to learn, and their life’s purpose
and mission. It is part of my mission being part of the end of suffering, help people live their best and inspired life, and explain how spirit works.
The latter I do in many seminars and workshops.
Recently people are awakening to a new spirituality, and I am happy to support their blossoming.
I am old-fashioned. For me, it is important to be authentic and to treat my clients like they deserve to be treated, with respect, no matter what is going on in their lives. That’s probably why my work quality was recently honored in the “Best of Sedona” awards again and I am now in their “Hall of Fame”. I am proud that I have the integrity to not just milk people for
their money, but to really care about the individual. That’s why I keep my prices affordable and have not changed them in the last 25 years, even though all other prices have been going up.
I am also happy that clients who met me 23 years ago when I first came to the US, are still my clients and also friends.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
– Authenticity – Quality
– Integrity
– Insightfulness
– Inspiration
– And going the extra mile for my clients
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
Being a black sheep of the family with my unusual gifts, I had to unlearn a lot of behaviors. I had to overcome the stigma of “seeing things” and “hearing things” and was forbidden to talk about that.
Now I am invited to lecture on the once-forbidden topics.
Yes, I talk to spirits and crossed over loved ones, and I understand the mechanics of death. So many people are unnecessarily afraid of dying.
I also had to unlearn the belief structure that you were not allowed to make a penny more than you need, if you are spiritual, as otherwise you would be seen as greedy.
Now I accept the bounty there is and happily share and make people’s lives better wherever I go.
My motivation also changed. From trained separatism and the expectation to elbow oneself up the ladder and get ahead of others, I live now for unity consciousness, with discernment for balance.
I am still competitive, don’t get me wrong, but the focus point is the
betterment of the individual for the betterment of all.
