Claudia, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Looking back, do you think you started your business at the right time? Do you wish you had started sooner or later

If I could go back in time in relation to my professional or work life, I would definitely change some things and I would have liked to start earlier. At the time of my life when I wanted to take the risk of working for myself, I was definitely not at my best. Doubts and fear did not let me sleep, and the question we all ask ourselves when we are taking a risk is: What if everything goes wrong? We don’t want to step out of that comfort zone, and sometimes we need a push that we don’t know how to recognize when things happen to us in life. And that push was… They fired me! This happened in 2019 when I started. For me, having started earlier would have definitely made a difference. I would be on another level right now, with much more knowledge. But I have learned that each person has their own time, and everyone is different. Other people’s timelines cannot be yours because we are all different worlds with different desires. Some mature before others, and life circumstances are not the same for everyone. Nevertheless, I believe that God makes things perfect, and my moment was in 2019. Many things would have changed if I had started earlier, but I know that behind that, there was a lesson to be learned: I must trust myself, take risks, and work very hard.
Definitely, I am in my moment, and with each passing day, I know that I am getting closer to achieving my goal and what fulfills me as a mother, wife, daughter, friend, and owner of my own business.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

While helping others with their goals through my work and receiving payment in return, I was unconsciously developing my own goals. I educated myself on immigration issues and assisted my family and friends in filling out forms.

One of the most satisfying aspects of my job is being able to educate and provide assistance to people who are going through difficult times, to a certain extent.

I initially entered the field of immigration by filling out forms, and as my family and friends started recommending me to others, I began to have a part-time job while continuing to work at my previous job. It was during this time that CMCO General Services LLC was established.

CMCO General Services is responsible for providing services such as filling out immigration forms, real estate assistance, notary services, and guidance and support with government assistance programs. These programs include rent assistance for those who are behind, help with electricity bill payments, or discounts on internet services, among many others. These forms of assistance, which go unused due to a lack of information, are tremendously helpful for families in need. CMCO has also implemented consulting services and partnered with organizations focused on educating new entrepreneurs about personal and business credit, enabling them to access investment capital for their businesses.

What sets us apart from others is our commitment to educating our clients, ensuring that they understand the credit system of this country and no longer depend on others in the future.

I take immense pride in being able to share my knowledge and educate people so that they don’t make the same mistakes I made in the past due to a lack of information. Witnessing the joy of individuals facing unstable economic situations and knowing that the government assistance programs we connect them with can provide relief and help them progress in this country is truly rewarding.

How’d you meet your business partner?

The way I met my business partner was through a relative. We started discussing business, and I quickly realized that he was an exceptionally intelligent individual. As time passed, I became increasingly intrigued by his knowledge, and I knew right then that he would be a valuable addition to CMCO and the Hispanic community.

Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?

I began acquiring knowledge through mentoring on how to secure capital from banks, and I applied this knowledge to my company. It became another service we offer to new and existing entrepreneurs.
