Clarke, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
My passion and connection to real estate began with my great grandparents who were leading real estate developers and investors in the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s building homes and multi-unit complexes all across LA County. Building on a family legacy of homeowners and investors, I understand the importance of supporting my clients with their real estate journeys. I am dedicated to helping my clients realize and achieve their homeownership dreams. It brings me great fulfillment to be able to guide clients through this journey of home ownership which at times requires me to take on a role of much more than a realtor. I greatly value the relationships and trust I build with my clients throughout the home-buying and selling process which is such a transformational time for most as it’s one of the most important financial decisions 

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m Clarke Ball and I’m born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. My journey in real estate began with my ancestors. I come from a family of home owners, investors, developers, and property managers so naturally, the business of real estate has always been around me in some fashion. I’ve always had a great passion for real estate even as a child. While some kids were playing games online, I was looking at all of the home fo sale in Los Angeles. Its honestly no suprise that I chose the career that I did. I fell into this industry naturally. My mom also worked in real estate and was working with one of her friends who is an industry veteran (Rena Braud). While i was in college I began mentoring under Rena and after I graduated I decided that real estate is what I wanted to do fulltime. Currently ,I am now on an A team with 3 other amazing realtors. We pride ourselves on being not only realtors but real estate strategist. Homeownership is oftentimes seen as something that is impossible to achieve- especially in a city like LA however we do our best to meet our clients wherever they’re at and come up with the best strategies to help achieve their real estate goals. It is fulfilling for us help guide our clients through these transformative real estate transactions. Knowledge is power and sometimes people just need to know where to get started and we value ourselves on being able to provide that guidance and information.
Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
My business partner/ team lead Rena Braud was raised in the same neighborhood (View Park) as my mom and they attended the same elementary school as one another. They connected later in life which is what led me to meeting Rena when I was in college. I had already had interest in the real estate career and I got the opportunity to mentor with Rena who has over 30+ years of experience in this industry. After I graduated I got licensed and joined her team along with my business partners Crystal Garrett and Andrew Houston full time and have been active and working in the industry since. We are now with Compass which is the #1 Brokerage in the United States. I am grateful to say that our team feels more like family at this point which makes for a great and uplifting work environment.
 
 
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
I feel that I have a very unorthodox approach to how I handle my business. I am a firm believer in the law of attraction and that in life things will happen how and when they are supposed to. I tend to foster clients naturally whether that be from family or friends, refferals, or people that I’ve met being out and about. I find the most effective strategy in attracting clients is being as knowledgeable about my business as possible. I believe that being informed about the indstury and its happenings as well as real estate strategies create a certain level of comfort that my clients have with me. I pride myself on educating my client on the home buying/selling process which are conversations that oftentimes happen way before they’re ever ready to sell or purchase. It is important that my clients feel comfortable with me as their agent representing them in their real estate transaction which requires a lot of trust. I strive for the best outcome for my clients and their best interest is always the forefront of any transaction. I’m the realtor that can help guide and empower my clients to make the most informed and best decisions for them.
