We were lucky to catch up with Clarissa Hoffmann recently and have shared our conversation below.
Clarissa, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
Ohhh, where do I even begin? Let’s rewind a few years, back to a version of me sitting in Germany, surrounded by textbooks and spreadsheets, dutifully studying Business Administration — and feeling miserable. On paper, it all looked right. In my heart? It felt so wrong. Heavy. Draining. Like wearing a pair of shoes three sizes too small.
One gloomy afternoon, in the depths of that “there has got to be more to life than this” feeling, a wild memory bubbled up: Little me, daydreaming about acting, about telling stories, about lighting up rooms and hearts. Acting had always felt like a “crazy” dream — the kind you tuck away because it feels too magical to be real.
But that day? That dream tapped me on the shoulder and said, Hey, remember me? It’s not too late.
Before I completely flipped my life upside down, I signed up for a little acting class in Germany — just to test the waters, just to see if I was completely delusional or if there was actually something there. And guess what? After that first class, I walked out thinking, Wait a second… I’m not crazy. I can actually do this! It felt like plugging myself into an electric socket made of pure joy and purpose.
Fueled by that tiny but mighty spark of confirmation — and, okay, a LOT of nerves too — I packed my bags, left behind everything familiar, and moved to New York City: one of the scariest and most electrifying places to chase a dream.
Fast forward: after studying acting in NYC, magic started unfolding faster than I could have ever scripted it. I found myself working alongside Oscar-nominated actors, pinching myself on set, realizing that following my heart wasn’t “crazy” after all — it was exactly what I was born to do.
And now? I’m honored to help other women do the same: trust their inner voice, leap toward their “impossible” dreams, and watch how life meets them with miracles they could never have predicted.
That risk? Best. Decision. Ever.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Hi there, beautiful souls! I’m so excited you’re here. I’m a transformational coach, breathwork facilitator, and award-winning actress — passionate about helping ambitious, creative women unleash their brilliance into the world in the boldest, most joyful way possible!
My journey into this work was anything but “traditional.” I originally studied Business Administration in Germany (spoiler alert: it made me miserable), then followed a childhood dream all the way to New York City to study acting — a leap that changed my life forever. After working alongside Oscar-nominated actors and experiencing firsthand what it feels like to fully own your light, I realized: this is what I want to help other women experience, too.
Today, I offer transformational coaching journeys called “Transform + Manifest” — powerful, fully customized programs designed for ambitious, creative women who know deep down they’re meant for more. My clients are visionaries, artists, entrepreneurs, and leaders who are ready to share their unique gifts with the world on a much bigger stage — and have a blast doing it.
What sets my work apart is the way I blend mindset coaching, breathwork, and acting exercises into one magical, high-impact journey. This combination helps my clients not just think differently, but feel and embody their confidence on a whole new level. It’s about unlocking their natural magnetism, dissolving old fears, and stepping into their power with authenticity, joy, and ease.
My brand is all about activating your inner superpowers. No cookie-cutter approaches here — every coaching journey is thoughtfully crafted to fit each client’s unique personality, style, and dream vision. I’m here to help women fall madly in love with their boldest selves and take inspired action that feels exciting, expansive, and totally aligned.
What I’m most proud of? Watching my clients transform — seeing them finally say yes to their wildest dreams, trust their intuition, show up bigger, and inspire the world around them. Nothing lights me up more.
If you’re ready to make the leap into the life you secretly (or not-so-secretly) dream about — and have a whole lot of fun along the way — I’m here to cheer you on, coach you through it, and help you manifest crazy magic you didn’t even know was possible.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
One of the biggest lessons I had to unlearn was the idea that I needed to hide parts of myself to be accepted — that I had to “fit in,” be polished, perfect, and pleasing at all times.
Growing up, I was actually really shy. I became a bit of a professional people-pleaser, always trying to mold myself into what I thought others wanted me to be. Deep down, I was terrified that if I showed all of me — the quirks, the big dreams, the messy emotions — I’d be too much… or not enough.
But life (and a lot of personal growth) had other plans! The more I got out of my shell — through acting, coaching, and simply saying yes to showing up fully — the more I realized that what I once saw as “flaws” were actually my magic. It wasn’t about being perfect — it was about being real. Being me.
And the wild part? The more I let my true self be seen — strengths, vulnerabilities, dreams, goofy moments, all of it — the more magnetic my energy became. People weren’t drawn to the polished version of me; they were drawn to the authentic, fully expressed version.
Now, I teach the same to my clients: Your uniqueness is your superpower. The parts of you that you once thought you needed to hide? They’re actually what make you unforgettable.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
For me, the most rewarding part of being an artist and creative is that nothing — not even the uncomfortable, messy, awkward moments — ever goes to waste.
In fact, it’s often the hard or weird moments that end up fueling the most powerful art. Whenever I go through something tough or cringey or vulnerable, I know I can infuse it into my work — whether it’s through coaching, storytelling, or creative projects. It’s like taking life’s bumps and bruises and turning them into something beautiful and meaningful.
That process changes how you see life itself. Instead of dreading uncomfortable moments, you start to appreciate them. You realize you’re gathering gold. You’re collecting depth, texture, color — all the things that make your art (and your soul) richer.
And the best part? When you create from that place of realness, you end up inspiring others. You give people permission to feel better about themselves — to be a little more human, a little more brave, a little more joyful. Your art can literally ripple out and help people live happier, healthier, more fulfilling lives.
That’s the real magic for me: transforming my own experiences into something that not only heals me but lifts others up too.
