Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Clarence Hall. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Clarence , thanks for joining us today. Let’s jump right into the heart of things. Outsiders often think businesses or industries have much larger profit margins than they actually do – the reason is that outsiders are often unaware of the biggest challenges to profitability in various industries – what’s the biggest challenge to profitability in your industry?
The biggest challenge to being a profitable digital marketing agency is building quality relationships that last and initial capital investment.
To have the skill of marketing is amazing but you need capital to scale and hire a team to truly have an impact in the marketing space.
You can only do so much as one person!
Ten peoples strategic effort towards a service will be greater than one’s.

Clarence , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Clarence Hall.
I am what you call a don. An individual that never quits, folds, or breaks. A man that no matter the circumstances will accomplish his goals!
I did not come from a wealthy upbringing. Nor did I come from a family of business owners.
I always knew that I would be a leader, change the family narrative, and become wealthy, respected, and honorable.
That is why when I found out about business I locked in. Commiting myself to long hours of work, programming my mind to think differently.
I studied the great philosopher (Bob Proctor) and Napoleon Hill. Whom taught me the skill sets responsible for my success.
When most people quit. I keep going because I only focus on the goal.
That leads me directly into why I chose the business path that I chose.
When you come from rough beginnings it will either make you a bitter evil person; or a kind hearted person.
Which is why I chose the industry of
(Marketing & Sales).
I got into the industry of marketing and sales through a friend. He seen my commitment to excellence, skill, work ethic. Also, my commitment tobuilding something greater than myself.
Yet, I did not get my start the normal way. My journey was tough. I learned how to market and sell by selling water bottles in the city of Detroit, MI.
While also working for a sales agency called Blue Marketing currently where I was selling TV and Internet service.
The owner “De’Javonne Cribbs” taught me the secret of all of my success.
Having and maintaining a great attitude in the ups and downs of life and business. Being ok with sometimes being the villain; and always the leader people lean on.
Working for his company was an amazing experience until covid-19 came and shut his agency down.
Leaving me with no choice other than to move on. I eventually decided to rebrand myself and commit myself completely to network marketing where I worked diligently to build a marketing company selling investing education.
I was able to manage and grow a team of 28 other people. Whom sold the service withe in person and virtually through cold calling, paid Advertising, and events.
Like all great entrepreneurs with character thought I decided to step away from what was not for me.
I could not build my wealth being apart of a company that false advertise.
I live by the quote.
-What does it profit a man to gain the world and lose himself in the process.
So, I decided to take my skills and gain credentials in marketing by going to college.
I took a risk and spent the last $80 or so dollars in my bank account, got rid of my apartment, sold my cars and took a Lyft to college.
It was here that I learn that to be great I couldn’t just go to class.
I needed more expierence and more knowledge.
So I attended college.
While also investing into mentorship through social media to gain an edge on other students, marketers, and agencies.
Some nights, I did not rest until 2am est learning.
Some days spending my last going to networking events just to learn from the greats.
I became obsessed with they idea of helping other people market themselves.
In a way that was ethical and could produce consistent sells and customers/clients.
Then one day while talking with someone I value dearly. I gained the confidence to start my own marketing firm.
Overcoming the fear of loss and fear of success from past business ventures.
Lack of employment, lack of business funding, and relationships.
I still rised above and found a way to not only build the company. I also found a way to succeed at gaining clients.
In a community that does business majority of the time only through relationships.
Through this journey. I have learned what’s inside of me. To never quit. When logic planning doesn’t work. Maintain a great attitude and just love the process.
While also faithfully doing the work daily
by myself until gaining partnerships.
Not just through prayer but also, through hard work.
Take it from me if you can envision it in your mind and do the work consistently.
Couples with unshakable faith in yourself and what you want to do.
You have no choice but to succeed!
– Clarence Hall
(See Through Marketing)

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
A lesson I had to unlearn was fearing success.
As a person that grew up rough. I developed a personality that can intimate the insecurities in people.
So, many times I would shrink myself into a level of success or person that the people I cared for could handle.
While sacrificing what I wanted in the process.
Self- sabotage was the habit I had to unlearn while self love was the habit that replaced it!

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
The person that has had the most impact on my business is God.
All the lessons we are looking for are in the bible!
The second is TD Jakes.
The third is Bob Proctor.
Lastly, Kevin Totty and David Imonitie.
