We were lucky to catch up with Claire Rogers recently and have shared our conversation below.

Claire, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.

I was a TEFL teachers for twenty years working all over the world. But my hobby was giving clairvoyance mediumship readings in person and online by email.

After I started to become more known in the spiritual world, by opening my brand new spiritual website back in 2010! I still continued to grow then I started hiring psychics tarot clairvoyants and mediums who joined my agency as I still lived abroad. By 2017 I took the risk and stopped teaching to run the agency full time. It was the best risk I ever took and I’ve never looked back!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

I remember as a small child maybe 3 or 4 years old hearing people talking in a room in our house when there wasn’t anyone in the room. There were two ladies dressed in strange clothes always talking away upstairs. I couldn’t understand what they said since I was so young.
Years later my parents told me that home was an old Inn, converted into a house, and has indeed had spirits living there. The building was hundreds of years old in Yorkshire, UK.

When I was 13 my mother who is a spiritual healer started taking me to a Spiritualist church where we went each Sunday until I left that town and moved away around 19 years old. The SNU in the UK is a nationwide Spiritualist church organization they have them in every town. You can go at the weekends to services and go in the week for cheap psychic development courses called open circles where you can learn how to use your spiritual gifts and so I did.

I’d always seen spirits everywhere I go and still do.

I came back to the UK after living and working overseas it was like a spiritual calling and we lived in Yorkshire again for one year. This is when I did an advanced spiritual course at the SNU. I started to go out into the public doing paid readings for the first time around Yorkshire, UK.

Then I started to hear from customers they had had bad experiences with other readers who said really disturbing things to these people. Which was upsetting to hear.

Spirits are real but some people out there who claim to be gifted were conning people.

As I was born like this seeing, and hearing spirit I can tell when I meet a reader, or psychic if they are genuine or not from their energy aura levels.

Because Spirit Mediums have an ever-so-strong energy level it makes it very easy to connect to spirit.
When I got more popular giving readings in people’s homes or at local events I would get double booked so I asked a friend from the Spiritualist church to help me out.

This was when I changed into a psychic agency, and back then people heard about me and wanted to join. This is why now in 2022! Spiritualevents.co.uk is the top leading psychic agency in the United Kingdom.

With over 40 readers on my books working online, at face-to-face events, and weddings. The spiritual Events team gets booked for any occasion in any town in the UK.

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?

To succeed takes hard work dedication and love for what it is you want to do in life! Some people can hack the daily slog and others give up.

I’ve never given up and grew stronger each day whatever the ups and downs were, you want this for the joy of who you are and what you want to be doing. Take it as a compliment if others try and copy you which they will as when they see someone succeed it means it will be easy for them to copy WRONG.

What people don’t see is all the effort you put into things behind the front of the shop or website, and socials the hours of work you create.

You can take on other people’s issues small or large as you work to be part of a team within your company.

Learn from the low points and learn to make a healthy work-life equilibrium.

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start?

As I mentioned before I started the psychic agency Spiritual Events UK when I moved back to the UK. Then I continued to work as a teacher so when I grew my agency by getting more and more bookings each month. So I quit teaching and knew I could live off what I made with my agency so really I just made my hobby my full-time job.

I would advise this to start with as it worked for me and it could work for you!
Low rental high income is the key!
