Cindy , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
The biggest risk I’ve taken has been betting on myself and following my heart.
I’ve always been the type of person who likes to analyze every move. I need to know the outcome, the numbers, and whether something will be a guaranteed win before I take action. So, stepping into the unknown and choosing to trust my instincts instead of logic was completely out of character for me.
But betting on myself has been the most rewarding risk I’ve ever taken. Even on the challenging days, it reminds me of how strong and capable I truly am. It’s taught me that growth doesn’t come from certainty it comes from courage. Following my heart has opened doors, helped me discover my purpose, and given me a deeper sense of confidence in who I am and what I’m building.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I entered the travel industry thanks to my dear friend and mentor, Sally Nguyen, who believed in me before I even believed in myself. She not only inspired me to take that leap but also showed me the power of turning passion into purpose.
I come from a hardworking, first-generation family where traveling wasn’t something we could afford. Bills and responsibilities always came first, and like many families chasing the American dream, we were taught that success came from long hours and sacrifice. Because of that, I grew up believing that travel was only for the wealthy something out of reach for people like me.
But the dream to see the world never left my heart. As I got older and started working, that little voice inside me kept reminding me that there had to be more to life than just working and paying bills. One day, my friends and I made a pact we were going to make travel happen, no matter what. Our first big trip was to Barcelona, Spain, and it completely changed my perspective. That experience showed me that travel wasn’t about how much money you had, but about how well you planned and how much you believed you deserved the experience.
Now, as a travel advisor and content creator, my mission is to show others that travel is possible for everyone. I help clients and followers discover ways to explore the world affordably and intentionally — whether that means luxury escapes, solo adventures, or dream vacations they never thought possible. Through my social media platforms, I share real experiences, travel tips, and inspiration to empower others to design the lifestyle they deserve.
What sets me apart is my authenticity and my passion for helping people transform their “someday” into “today.” I’m most proud of being able to use my platform to inspire others especially women from similar backgrounds to see that the world truly belongs to them, too.

Have you ever had to pivot?
Before I became a travel entrepreneur and content creator, my world revolved around fitness. I was a certified personal trainer with a nutrition certification, and my dream was to one day do it full-time. I poured my heart into helping people feel confident, healthy, and strong and I was proud to have helped hundreds of clients transform their bodies and lifestyles.
But as the years went by, I started to realize that something inside me was shifting. While I loved helping others, I also wanted more freedom, creativity, and balance in my own life. I began craving experiences beyond the gym opportunities to connect with people through wellness, mindset, and travel. That’s when I knew it was time to pivot.
Transitioning from personal training to travel entrepreneurship wasn’t easy. It required me to start over in a new industry, learn new skills, and rebuild my confidence in a completely different space. But that pivot turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It allowed me to combine everything I love health, wellness, empowerment, and adventure into one brand that reflects who I truly am.
Now, instead of just helping people look good, I help them feel alive by showing them how to live well, explore often, and believe in the power of creating a life that excites them.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy I’ve used to grow my clientele has been showing up as my authentic self the good, the bad, and everything in between. I’ve never been afraid to share my struggles just as openly as my successes, because I believe that’s what truly connects people.
Social media can sometimes feel like a highlight reel, but I’ve learned that people want real. They want to see someone who’s human, who has ups and downs, who’s figuring it out but still showing up. Whether it’s talking about personal challenges, self-doubt, or the behind-the-scenes hustle, I share it all because that’s real life and that honesty builds trust.
By being transparent about my journey not just the polished moments — I’ve built a community that feels like family. People relate to authenticity more than perfection, and that’s what keeps them coming back, engaging, and booking with me.
At the end of the day, my biggest “strategy” is just being Cindy real, raw, and unapologetically myself. And that’s what’s allowed my brand to grow in the most genuine and fulfilling way possible
