We recently connected with Cindy Le and have shared our conversation below.
Cindy, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
I believe that success comes by having a great team. I have to thank my husband, dad, in-laws, neighbors, and friends for all of their support. The care and feedback is what keeps me going. I would like to add that having an open heart, firm goals, faith in your work, and strategic moves will get you farther than a college degree. So try not to underestimate your abilities. Doubt can prevent much of your success; therefore, try to dream as if zero obstacles were in the way.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I make skincare products, ranging from chapstick to serums to makeup remover and much more. Much care and thought is put into formulating every bottle. Our goal is to make people feel more confident in their skin. We design the products to work with sensitive skin types, mature skin, pregnant skin, acne prone, flaky/dry skin, etc. Our best sellers are Tallow Aloe, Anti-Aging Cream, Day Serum (with SPF40), Night Serum, and Spot Treatment. We are now offering bundle deals so you don’t have to feel guilty about leaving out an important step. We’ve made it easier to getting beautiful, clear skin.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
Vendor markets have been the biggest blessing. I try to find ones nearby and far away. And matter where I go, I learn the audience of each city. The best part is I offer simple things like chapstick, to complex things like serums, cream, and balm; but I always have something for someone. The best joy of it all is customers feel they are supporting a small business. It is such a blessing to meet every customer using my products. I am forever addicted to vendor markets.

How did you build your audience on social media?
The key is consistency. I have to post at least every other day. I try to change it up by posting on Facebook one day, Instagram the next day, marketplace the following day, etc. Also, I have to keep up with my photoshoots. By keeping everything up to date, it shows my care and professionalism on the website. It gets easier as I have low stock or sold out products. I am also promoting Advent Calendars and Bundle Deals on our website. It’s great deals ranging from 20-62% off all products. All offers are available while supplies lasts.
