We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Ciearra Tati a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Ciearra thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.
At the young age of 20, I became a mother with very little community support. I went from being out with lots of friends all of the time, to being home with my newborn mainly alone. Struggling with postpartum depression, feeling isolated and away from everyone, getting into unhealthy relationships and friendships because of the loneliness, I slowly lost myself throughout my twenties. I often found myself going to social media to see if anyone else was going through this or had went through this. When searching for relatable voices online, I didn’t find many young women talking about the very real things that I was experiencing. I longed for a community of women who understood and could offer education, encouragement, and inspiration. So I became that voice.
Determined to be the voice that I needed, I decided I wanted to step into content creation. I would connect through my content because I could reach anyone in the world that way. This was a scary decision, as it required me to be vulnerable and open up about my personal struggles to the world. I feared judgment and criticism, but my desire to help other women and find my people outweighed these fears. I wanted to create a supportive community where women could find solace and inspiration.
Once I finally found the courage, I began sharing my personal experiences and the hard lessons that I’ve learned from them through social media, focusing on mental health, motherhood, healing, and self-love. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with women worldwide reaching out to share their stories with me. My vulnerability connected me with a community of women that I had been looking for, for so long.
Today, my content helps women heal, rediscover who they are and embrace their authentic selves. The risk I took has helped me find my people, transformed my life and empowered many other women to start their own journey of self-discovery and healing.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’m an advocate and content creator focusing on healing, relationship with God, self-discovery, and living authentically. My journey into this industry began from my personal experiences as a young mother facing postpartum depression and looking for online voices, which drove me to create the supportive and honest community I needed back then.
My content is unique because it’s not “cookie-cutter.” I pride myself on being unconventional, offering real and raw insights into my journey and struggles. My work doesn’t feel like work, so it’s hard to refer to it as that. My work/content focuses on:
• Relationship with Self and God: Encouraging spiritual growth and personal development.
• Healing: Providing support and strategies for emotional and mental healing.
• Self-Discovery: Guiding other women to discover/rediscover their true selves.
• Living Authentically: Empowering people to embrace their genuine selves.
My content provides a safe space for women to explore their identities, heal from past wounds, and connect with others who share similar experiences. What sets me apart is my commitment to authenticity and vulnerability, which creates a genuine connection.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
For me, the most rewarding aspect of what I do through my content is knowing that I am being the very person that I needed once upon a time. It brings me great joy to reach the hearts of women who can use the knowledge that I have gained over the years and the support that I offer. Most importantly, it’s an honor to pave the way for my daughter, carving out a path for her to follow. The very things that I’ve learned and teach other women are the same things I’m able to teach my daughter and guide her through life, being an example to her before I am an example to anyone else.

How did you build your audience on social media?
I built my social media platform and found my online community of women over time and we’re still growing daily. I’ve always been vulnerable and authentic with my social media presence; the way I am online is the way I am offline, and I pride myself on that.
For those just starting to build their social media presence, my advice is to stay consistent and be patient. Show up as your true self, and if you’re not sure who that is, take the time to discover your true self so that you can lead with that. Regardless of the type of content you’re looking to create, always be your true self. Social media is a place for so many people to connect. How can you find your people if you aren’t being yourself? Authentic content fosters an authentic community. Additionally, be supportive of others and become apart of their community as well. Be supportive of others that you resonate with, of course, but be supportive. Don’t overthink your content—overthinking can hinder you. Just do it! I promise there is a community of people waiting for you.
