We were lucky to catch up with Chyna Robinson recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Chyna, thanks for joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

The mission behind my company is to encourage young moms to keep going. A lot of times as a young mother it is very easy to get discouraged because you are automatically looked down upon. My mission is to show other moms that just because you have children at a young age, or that it is not over. You can still live the life you have planned to for yourself and more ! It is all about mindset, ambition and faith.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

My name is Chyna Robinson and I currently reside right outside of the City of brotherly love, Philadelphia. I am a 24yr old mom of two , Harlem 3 and Hendrix 1. I am a momprenuer with two active companies @chinkdidthat on instagram where I sell luxury bouquets and do luxury room set up for hotels, then iamchynesee on YouTube! My YouTube is a platform where I show my everyday life of being a single mon of two and the hurdles I face and overcome. I also share personal experiences about becoming a mom at such a young age after having a miscarriage . I also encourage other young parents, moms specifically that although you are a single mom you can still be who you want to be. I love to encourage other moms who have been in my shoes and who are currently in my shoes to just keep going. Many people believe having children young will destroy your life and you will never be able to achieve the things you want out of life because of them. I am here to show you that as long as you have faith, ambition and drive that you can accomplish anything you have your heart set on. Yes, with your children beside you.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

Being a young mom is very hard and challenging, but being a single parent of two children and being young is even harder. The biggest challenge I’ve faced through this thing called motherhood is trying to hold it all together while still having to provide for myself and the children I gave birth to. I’ve always been very ambitious and self motivated but having children just added more fuel to my drive. In may 2024 I started my own luxury bouquet business “chinkdidthat” on instagram, because my daughters birthday was coming up and I needed some extra money on top of the money I bring in monthly from my 9-5 job to give her a great birthday while still taking care of our day to day needs. I wasn’t making addition money from YouTube, or my other business “Triptochyna” so I came up with something that everyone could benefit from. Something that I knew would make me fast money and that also stood out from something that was already saturated. I came up with a diaper bouquet which would be great for baby showers, a push gift etc. They did very very well because it was something that no one in my city was doing and because of that I started to generate money fast! So fast that I made over my goal for the timeframe I had set for myself and I was able to give my daughter a great birthday party. After I seen how well business was going I decided to continue and turn it into something long term.

Can you talk to us about how you funded your business?

I started my business with the money I paid myself from each check for a “self care fund”. I started my business “chinkdidthat” with only $50.
