We recently connected with Chucke Red and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Chucke thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?

I was in 10th grade when i figured that out! My boys Emilio, and Nate really are the ones who started me rapping, Seven the General kinda later lit the fire, by telling me to just simply keep going that was huge for me!

Chucke, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Well like I said before I was intrigued by Emilio and Nates gift to spew words that rhyme and sounds dope! However My Big Brother in Hip Hop MR.FLAZH Was the one who discovered I could flow after meeting Seven, and Flazh was the first to believe in me enough to put me in the studio and record my first couple of songs! Nevertheless if I pop FLAZH will be the first to come with! I also have merch I call it Paper Apparel Red Luxury all clothing it’s something I’ve always wanted to do as a child. I do cover art as well for myself and friends in music and I charge for that too! I’ve built a pretty decent name for myself here recently With features wit artist such as, Marquise Porter who is another Big Brother of mine in music thats my guy, Sada Baby, Eastside Eggroll, Risktaker DBoy, Big Jungle, Stretch Money, Miss ToTo, My Lil Bro Jo$e Rikko, Frostyy Formally Known as Fraudskiii, My Twin 4L Zack, RD Chop, Skooter Kruger, Fellow Human the most special one is my SON Markie Bandz and Nephews BLVD Pox & YNP Majo and many more

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

Just being able to express myself in anyway I see fit! And seeing my growth is really rewarding when i just sit back and take it all in! (PAUSE)

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

I was a young dude trying to figure out how to be a rapper for real. Then I started seeing Marquise Porter on every bootleg dvd you couldnt watch the movie until you watched his video then it clicked in my head thats where i wanna be know like this guy! Then I bs you not I bump into him during a show he dropped a tape called BI-POLAR RELOAD and was handing it out I got one from him and instantly became more of a fan of his. Then the opportunity to work with him presented itself, and Po, Flazh, and Myself tore that track up “WE GOT THE POWER” on you tube under Reddy Red i changed my name but thats another story but shout out DROCK!
