Hi Chuck, thanks for joining us today. Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.
March 28th, 2023, was the twentieth anniversary of when I started working behind the camera. I look at the work I do now in comparison to back then I can connect every dot that lead me to this moment and what is ahead of me. The camera is a time machine in my eyes, which is the theme of The Maximum Exposure Fashion Series. The Final Act premiers on September 10th, 2023 telling the story of Marilyn Monroe thru Fashion. The Old Hollywood themes reflect the foundation of the Golden Age of film with the models dressed up as the actual stars.
Chuck, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
By doing something different every time, I compete with myself. I always try to take my next project in a different direction, inspiring me to expand photography, film, and storytelling.
In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
Please do not discriminate against talent regarding their race, gender, origin, backstory, or history everyone is worthy of a success story, and everyone has a story that needs to be told.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
I am just celebrating my Twentieth Anniversary of working behind the camera, so that was a goal that I was happy to achieve. Turning my photography and film work into a show and series was a lifelong goal. On September 10th, 2023, I will conclude the final installment in my Fashion series, telling the story of Marilyn Monroe thru Fashion.
