Alright, Christy thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Was there an experience or lesson you learned at a previous job that’s benefited your career afterwards?
Always listen to your clients! A lot of time as a provider you don’t have to agree. Your Client knows best what result they personally are looking for and when you combine that with your experience you get the best results catered to them. Create a detailed treatment plan based on their own personal needs and goals. Remember they know their bodies best!
Christy, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I have been in the Aesthetic industry for over 15 years now and I absolutely am in love with what I do. From the patients, the product that we use and the people that work with me, I could not be happier with where my road has lead me. Elysian is a Spa that focuses on partnering with our clients to create a long term plan for their skin. We have services that range from facials to laser treatments, microneedling to fillers and plenty in between. At Elysian we pride ourselves on putting our clients needs first. If she is concerned about lines and wrinkles but also concerned about looking natural – we have got her covered!
For me and my staff we feel like the connection that we make with our clients helps us to stand out amongst others in our field. I am so proud of our constant growth over the past few years. My team has grown in skill and our spa has grown in capacity. When you walk in our doors we want you to feel comfortable to be yourself and relax in knowing we will do our best to make your experience here one that you want to return to over and over. How do you keep your team’s morale high?
Set expectations and keep it real. It is easy to get overwhelmed when your business is growing and you have to rely on those around you to help shoulder the burden of some of the duties to continue to go in the right direction. Be transparent as much as possible and know that you have to take time to teach, train and test and possibly reteach again to have those high expectations met.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
My nature with my clients. I truly care about them and their skin needs. When you love your job as much as I do and your clients are 90 % of the reason why – it is easy to continue to grow your practice to bring in more services that help treat different areas of concern. The more we are able to give our customers visable results the more they are able to share with others. A huge growth and influx of clients has been by word of mouth by current, happy “glowing” clients.
