Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Christopher Scott-Dixon. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Christopher, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about one of the craziest things you’ve experienced in your journey so far.
I am an early riser, as is my client. My client requested a conference call. I suggest 6 AM. My client informed me that 6 AM did not work for him. Initially, I assumed he was not the early riser he had declared himself to be. However, the truth was that one of my client’s 100+ employees was working nights for the company, and it was his employee’s wedding anniversary. My client told his employee to take the night off, and he would cover for him. My client showed incredible leadership. His staff adore him, as they rightly should. I don’t know how many times I have retold this story. It simply resonates with me.

For folks who may not have read about you before, can you please tell our readers about yourself, how you got into your business, what type of products/services/creative works you provide, what problems you solve for your clients and what you think sets you apart from others. What are you most proud of and what are the main things you want followers to know about your work.
As an attorney specializing in small businesses, I understand the variety of challenges that entrepreneurs encounter as they strive to establish and grow their businesses. I help my clients navigate the intricate landscape of laws, regulations, and potential pitfalls they undoubtedly face. I am able to form and build genuine relationships with my clients—a level of connection that often eludes those representing large corporations. I am most proud of my role in helping clients grow their businesses.
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Referrals from other clients. When clients are pleased with your work, they will not hesitate to refer you to their colleagues and even their competition.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
Most of the obstacles we face in our businesses are mere frustrations rather than life-threatening. To keep things in perspective, I read about explorers like Ernest Shackleton, who overcame incredible adversity.
