We were lucky to catch up with Christopher Santiago recently and have shared our conversation below.

Christopher , appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.

I love to make people laugh! Growing up I wanted to be an actor and didn’t pursue it so I thought to myself how can I make people laugh on a broader scale. I started posting skits and different monologues that ultimately made me laugh so I knew that I had to share it with other people. I feel like I’m meant to do this for the rest of my life. It’s my purpose so if I see or hear something that I know I can twist and poke fun at it, I will! I turn that camera on, my lighting, maybe grab a wig or two and hit record!

Christopher , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I deal with bad anxiety and I know not all days can be the best. So if I am able to make other people laugh and take them out of their reality for 5 minutes, I’m going to! I don’t try to be funny, it literally just comes out as an impulsive thought and I put the thought to camera. If I watch something and think “oh my god that would be funny if I record it and did it this way…” I just do it and that’s what gets the more attraction to my page when it’s organic! I call my self ClickforChris for a reason, it’s just a click away to be in my world and thought process. People always ask me, how do you come up with this stuff? It just comes out naturally and at an impulse!

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

I continue to build my social media by being myself! Enjoying my craft and loving what I do. The only way to stand out with my content is by being unapologetically me. I feel like people attract to me when it’s me just being who I am genuinely. I don’t want to post for a “look” or to be someone else, I want everyone to see who I am in real life! My advice would be, always be yourself and don’t try to keep up to any fashions! Buy things you like, post things you think is funny and there will always be people who want to connect and follow you!

Have you ever had to pivot?

I currently work in a hospital where I assist in sending out specimen for various testing. I am now going back to school and I had a choice to go back for what I’m doing now to help in creating my content so I chose my content. I love what I do now because helping people feels amazing but sending out specimen isn’t my passion, creating hilarious content is. Maybe I can help people in a different way and give them a double dose of laughter everyday. I feel like I’m meant to do this for the rest of my life, I can already see it, taste it, feel it and I just need one video to take off and then I’ll be there! I am the next big thing, I know it.
