We were lucky to catch up with Christopher Haley recently and have shared our conversation below.

Christopher, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Innovation comes in all shapes, sizes and across all industries, so we’d love to hear about something you’ve done that you feel was particularly innovative.

Being comfortable with being my own “Agent” my own “Stylist” Publicist” it’s apart of my journey in my quest to being a Male Model which is the most innovating aspect.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Well ima 32 year old published Model hailing from Virginia Father Of 3 and Ima Electrician for the shipyard here. I got into the Modeling industry in 2017/18 off of me looking at someone else’s work that had got Major brand deal and was motivated enough to say “You know i can take better photos than this guy in fact ima get me a Big brand to work with” so it was a negative but i sought out to do it right after. For me in Modeling i provide a level of diversity in my looks to fit all sectors of whatever demographic to fit, the biggest thing I’m proud of is having my 2 of my photos published in Vogue.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

To be Frank i never really did Modeling for the social Media presence i always just followed what i thought would be a good look or a good story to tell thru photos. If anything i built my profile off of me being myself I’ve learned if you put out enough quality work people will gravitate towards it.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

That it’s not always about how many “followers” you have to attract brands. I realized that having conversations with people that work at these brands don’t want the hassle of dealing with people with bigger followings because the lack of effort put forth usually so they rather work with people that’s excited and willing
