We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Christopher Favela a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Christopher, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Quality control is a challenge almost every entrepreneur has had to focus on when growing – any advice, stories or insight around how to best ensure quality is maintained as your business scales?
As the company is growing, maintaining Quality as been a key factor from our start. From the company startup, our mission is use premium quality ingredients. Our customers will be satisfied when hiring our services because our quality in our products will always be of high quality. Before any of our services are introduced, they undergo a strict tasting regime before being offered. These controls that we do before hand have been very effective in why most of our customers are returning customers.
An advice I would give to those concerned about quality control as they grow is keep in mind that customers do notice if quality is downgraded and better prepared else where.
Christopher, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Christopher Favela, I am a Co-CEO of Antojitos Mi Sinaloa. We are based out of Eastlake – Chula Vista, we are focused on Premium snack Carts and Catering. I love attending people and creating a variety of snacks and food that people will enjoy. Most of our product is a home made recipe, which makes it more significant that people can try and love our product. People really Love our Home made chamoy, it has really made an uproar within all of our customer that makes me want to brand it and sell it because it is always asked for! It is really exciting to be able to connect with people via food and our service. We have surpassed our own expectations on what we have accomplished as a starting company. We recently were named Caterer of the Year in 2023 by The Event Community. We are very happy to have this accomplishment; Our project being recognized for our hard work and within our community. We strive to the top catering company in the SD region first and eventually in the United States.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
What has helped us build our reputation within our market today is having to work tirelessly to get our name out there. Redesign our concept, innovation of products, quality control, and marketing. We Strive to be the best in the industry and our region. We have connected with a lot of great people along our journey who have contributed to our success and continued growth. Learning and growing along with people is one of the things we love. Our Team has contributed to our growth as we focus on customer service because we value our customers, and we want them coming back every time. We are impacting our target market by our hard work and integrity.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for growing clientele is social media. Marketing has a huge influence on today’s world. We had to adapt to the changing conditions of how marketing works. While we are hired for events, it is a great opportunity to introduce yourself and teach new customers about your business. When people love your product/service, mouth to mouth recommendations goes a long way. We have been hired because our team or product has done a great job for people to recommend us. In today’s technology world, every platform is a great way to get exposure to potential new clients. Every person you talk to is a great candidate to become a customer. Because they might not need your services, but they know of someone who can.
