We were lucky to catch up with Christine Jackson recently and have shared our conversation below.
Christine , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
Coming up under hustlers, at an early age I knew I wanted to be my own boss and a boss to others. I was about 13/14 really realizing what money was and when you have a certain amount, the power and mentality it gave. Watching my mother as a child already being a beautician, did everything for me! I knew as I grew up, doing something I love will have a better lasting feeling then going to school, which I enjoyed also graduating high school with a 3.4 but for longevity I knew that what’s I didn’t want to do. Graduating when I was 17 years of age, I hit the ground running as a stylist. Being my brand for the last 12 years been nothing but awesome. You always take the bad cause the good always being great.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
For those who love to get to know me. Born as Christine Jackson , known as Fluffy from DC ! I’ve always have had a nick for art and being a beautician you get to create art and persons feel great about themselves so that feeling it gave me worked hand in hand for me. Also watching my mom as I grew up o hair, that’s all where it started.
Having and running a successful business can be easygoing some days an extremely hard th next but with discipline you will get pass every obstacles thrown at you. Having discipline for me is very big in business an personal for me.

When you come to HairbyFluff Studios, I want you feel at home! Relaxed, unwind!
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
For me It’s just one end goal, to look fabulous. I try to always be teachable, learning new methods and tricks to further better my creativity.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Building my social platform was fairly easy for me as I started doing hair in high school. I created my logo and pushed forward strong for the next 2 years. Tho my first account got snatched from under me, I was able to make money off my accounts about 2 years before the pandemic, making this being year 5 of me getting paid. I say the earlier you start is great however if you have the determination and motivation to push is wonderful. Stay consistent! Stay consistent! Stay consistent!
