We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Christine B.. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Christine below.
Christine, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about the best boss, mentor, or leader you’ve ever worked with.
Someone who understands me more than anyone, would have to be my boss Fran. We both are affiliated with a casino cruise ship out of the largest cruise port in the US. (FL). Although I have been a part of the casino cruises since 2015, Fran and I met when she was looking for a talent agent for the company.
It was October of 2019 when I walked into an office to see Fran for the first time. I was hired on the spot because she made a funny statement, and I replied, “You know what, I do too!” She lifted her head from her desk and said, “OMG…you’re hired.” I replied, “Cool. Shall we get to work?”
-And that was that.
I would have to say that Fran and I probably share the exact same personality traits; She can pretty much know what I am thinking and what my response would be to just about any situation. This makes my job a lot easier.
Fran is compassionate and stirs me back to center when I am off track or in a “funk.” I think because I care so much about my work results, I get very engraved in my job, (which is wearing many hats- some people know of, and some people do not know of).
Results are what drive me to thrive. I have no one else to thank but Fran for mentoring me a long the way in the work environment; not only for the casino cruises, but for my own entrepreneurship endeavors as well.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My career began as a flutist, then a self-taught multi-instrumentalist. From there, it was songwriting, acting, then vocals. I soon discovered production, and audio engineering. All of these aesthetics led me into performing professionally, and my desire to strengthen communities.
I felt compelled to make sure that kids were receiving music in their cities by joining several non-profit organizations, as well as donating to them.
Currently, my passion continues as a talent agent ensuring musicians are represented and compensated in the best light. My agency has been in existence since 2022.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
In the future, I hope that I have done my job well enough as mentor and visionary to inspire everyone when it comes to making business decisions. It does not matter which path you choose, I teach people to think outside the box with creativity.
In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
I feel as though art is needed in society as a whole. Art, (whether fine art or performing art), speaks to people without words.
Perhaps more venues could open their doors welcoming inspiring artists; I find there is not a lot of space to support youth and established artists that is affordable.
Someday, my dream is to create a space that has a music studio and fine art rooms under one roof; Almost like a community center, but with teaching rooms for those who want to learn anything “artsy.”
